CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 2.0 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by good for the price I've just worn one out that I've used for years. The wheel finally got so dull it leaves a ridge on either side of the cut. It's cheap. No plumber would use this but it works for a homeowner's light use. The tool has a little slop in it but if it's used with care it does just fine. My next one will be a Rigid because I have a major project coming up. I'd buy the General again if not expecting to use it heavily. Even if you wear one out, it's cheaper to replace for another 10 bucks than to buy most higher line cutters once. And, if you only intend to do a couple of repair jobs with it, you'll never wear it out. May 22, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Do not buy This cutter cuts a helix, not a circle. Instead of cutting off the tube, it makes a really bad thread. Not only is your money wasted on this tool, it also may ruin your material. Come morning, I'll be returning this and buying the higher priced model of a different make. November 30, 2011
