Product Overview

For nearly 85 years General Tools has grown to become the recognized industry leader for specialty hand tools and instruments. The lightweight, easy-to-use MSV250 LED 3-in-1 Stud, Voltage & Metal Detector uses 4-level, low power consuming, light-emitting diodes to precisely indicate objects when the unit is moved along a wall, ceiling or floor surface. Hidden metals and wiring can be detected accurately by switching between the metal and voltage selectors. Users can also search for wood studs while operating the metal or voltage detector simultaneously.

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice device...two for one! I got this mainly because we were doing some electrical work in our basement, and some of the breakers were mislabeled. This does a wonderful job in finding live electrical wiring, plus doubles as a stud finder. I saved myself a shock or two, plus saved my wall quite a few unneeded holes. Definitely a tool for any home renovator! June 14, 2010
