Product Overview

Genesis is the last ceiling panel you’ll ever need to install. Genesis ceiling panels are manufactured from cellular PVC with both smooth and textured surfaces available. The Designer Series ceiling panels offer styles that go way beyond the standard ceiling tile, but still offer the same great benefits.

  • Genesis panels resist rust, corrosion, water, mold, mildew and bacteria
  • The panels are made of virgin-grade PVC vinyl and work with most standard 15/16 in. grid systems
  • Genesis will not spot, stain, rot, swell or peel due to moisture
  • They are impact resistant and are available in 2 ft. x 2 ft. panels

The lay-in Genesis Icon Coffer White Ceiling Tiles will quickly and easily fit into almost any ceiling grid system. They are not designed to be glued to a concrete ceiling.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Looking Ceiling This is an excellent looking ceiling. I used it in a home office I was building in my basement. The coffer look helps give the room height and depth which is hard to do in a basement. The tiles are a little more fragile than I expected. These tiles looked better than most of there competitors and was cheaper and the quality was better. In fact I contacted 2 manufacturers and Gensis was Extremely helpful. They even sent free samples. Note: This particular tile requires a perfect square, as you can't cut the tiles and still have the look you want. June 12, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful These tiles are beautiful. The only issue I have is when they need to be cut and don't sit flush on the grid. September 29, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Sold cieling tile The install was smooth, and the finished look is great. Some of the tiles came cracked or damaged, but I am planning to return them without much hassle. The tiles are pretty thin (like 1/8" thick) and contoured for the coffered look. So when you have to cut a tile, you will be able to see a gap above the coffered part where it meets the Grid. This is ok if your cut edge is against a wall, as the gap won't be all that visible, but if your application will reveal a cut edge January 8, 2013
