This is for a business installation. I have 2 doors that I need to be able to open with each remote opener. (Question #1. Can I add 7 remotes to open the 2 doors? (1 for each employee) , (Question #2. Each employee needs to be able to open both doors from their remote. Is that possible?)

I believe so. It came with 2 remotes, and the system of getting it so recognize another remote was so simple, it implies you could keep adding as many remotes as you wanted to. I also don't see why you could not have multiple openers on multiple doors, and program them each to recognize the same remotes? I also don't see why you could not have multiple openers on multiple doors, and program them each to recognize the same remotes? The only odd thing I can think of is that then the first door you programmed a remote for would open as you were programming it for the 2nd door. (unless you shielded the antenna wire) There then would also be no way to prevent both doors from always opening together from the remote. Read Less

Answer:
Hi MJ,
This specific unit can receive up to 7 devices programmed to it, this includes remotes and wireless keypads. The remotes that come with this unit have 3-buttons, so each remote can work up to 3 doors with 3 Genie Intellicode operators. Another option could be to add our wireless keypad and provide a pin number for them to use. Our wireless keypads can work up to 3 doors with 3 Genie operators.

Answer:
Yes, absolutely. You program when it is to stop, so you can make it stop any where, in both directions. There are simple buttons right on the overhead unit that you hit to start programming, move the door a little at a time, and then store the location for the limit of travel from then on.

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 52 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Product Very easy to install, extremely quiet to use, two weeks on with no issues at all. August 17, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Value The boxes were numbered so you could easily find the next pars you would need. All easy to do, parts fit well, instructions pretty good. The rail is 3 part, and a slider has to go along it, so I felt some grinding was necessary at the joints so that it would not catch and always be smooth operating. The belt operation is very quiet. I do not like the photo beam safety near the floor because I like to be able to hit the down button and then walk out as it is coming down. So I put the beam units near each other by the ceiling. But they do work well also. September 7, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works great but didn't like existing wires The opener works great and is very quiet. Syncing the opener to the car was a breeze. The only problem that I had was on installation, I couldn't get the opener to recognize the optical sensors using the existing wiring in the walls of my garage. I ran the wires included opener and that fixed the problem. Then the opener would not recognize the wall button so I ran the included wire for this also and everything is working as it should. I'm not sure why I couldn't use the wires in the walls since they worked fine with the opener that was removed. Now I have wires ran on the surface of my ceiling while there are perfect condition wires under the sheet rock that I can't use. August 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by so quiet it is so compact and easy to install. using it a month and so far so good.... the best thing about it is quiet. September 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stealth Garage Door Opener I replace my chain-drive garage door opener with this quiet-lift 800. Installation took about 2+ hours with a friend helping but we ran into no actual problems or complications. My garage has a bedroom over it, which was the main reason I wanted to replace it with something quieter. I live in a town-home and recently talked to my neighbor about the garage opener and he told me "We never hear your garage open or close any more". In the bedroom the noise has been reduced from a loud rumble to a low growl. Set-Up was a breeze and I haven't had a single problem since installation. All you hear is the door moving along the rails. August 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great upgrade from my previous chain drive openers! Bought two of these garage door openers to replace my old broke down chain drive units. Found them on sale at the home depot web site. Great value a good opener! installed both of them by myself in about 2 hours or so. The up down programmable to set the distance of the door travel was a breeze, and programming the remotes was easy as well. Love my new garage door openers. I installed these on two aluminum single car doors. August 30, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by DOA This unit came with a defective control board. Customer service was very good. They also sent the replacement quickly. The unit has less power than other 1/2 Hp ones I have owned. September 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by good garage door opener Easy to install and quite. Nice bright lights when the door opens. August 30, 2016
