Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product Several different types of smoke detectors are available. Ionization smoke detectors are best at detecting fast, flaming fires -- such as those fueled by paper or flammable liquids -- and are commonly used in kitchens. Photoelectric smoke detectors, on the other hand, are better at detecting slow, smoldering fires. These fires are often started by weak heat sources, such as an unextinguished cigarette, in upholstered furniture, bedding, drapery, etc. May 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Property Manager I manage an apartment for the disabled and their is two in every apartment. The alarm company wanted to charge over a $1000.00 to send some one from 80 miles away to climb a ladder and install. I picked up the item myself from a home depot 20 miles away. Climb a ladder and install myself. The hardwires were there and it just snaps in place and with a twist it is attached to ceiling. Save my company a lot of money. September 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Smoke Detector for hearing impairer Really great for hearing impaired. Sound is loud and strobes are very bright. Easy to install. June 9, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Internal Equipment Issues I bought Like 8 of these and 1 of them went bad within a matter of a few months. It just started beeping nonstop. Although it was quite loud but it was a pain because I had this detector installed quite high on the ceiling so, if you disconnect the electricity it still works do to the battery which is placed within the detector. I wanted to return the product but I couldn't return it because the warranty was void. Also, it is quite pricey wouldn't recommend it to anyone. . December 29, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Everyhting it advertised. I am a home owner who rent to handicapped people. Keeping them safe is paramount and this product helps me do that, all in one package. December 6, 2011
