Used this product on my concrete driveway. So far it is performing as expected. Now when it rains the water runs off like it does on a waxed car. Amazing!

Water does beads and waterproof the concrete. I would prefer a product that would just waterproof just to keep the moisture out so it doesn't mold and have to buy everything else to go along with it. Like #3500 for 44 dollars but it doesn't waterproof. This was over 100 dollars with tax. I did ending up buying #3500 but it doesn't bead like i was hoping to and didn't want to spend another $100 so until a product that just waterproof for under 45 bucks, I will not buy ghost shield until that product gets produced (hint to the manufacturer)

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Earle Extremely easy application
Appplied to 1" pavers which were very porous. Sprayed on with pump garden sprayer and resprayed while still wet. some puddling which was gently sprayed into unpuddled areas with a leaf blower. When dry, no sheen. Surface looks as it did before spray. Water beads on surface. Rated a 4 because do not have any way to determine if product will last or if it densfies the concrete pavers Recommend

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by RJKS Not quite invisible
The product looked terrible on my 35 day old driveway, dried very blotchy and uneven, as opposed to invisible as described. The company said, The variation in color is related to the concentration of portlandite present (previously not visible) but illuminated by the sealers reaction.
The company was helpful in refunding me and sending me a non reactive sealer as I elected to acid wash the 9500 off of the concrete, but this significantly darkens the concrete. Not to mention the hours of labor involved in correcting the issue.
I would steer clear of this product if you are sealing new concrete.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Gerald So far it looks good
I rated 4 stars because I don't know how long this treatment will last.
My patio concrete is almost 20 years old and the surface shows some ware from the rain water coming off the roof and it gets black mildew because it does not get a lot of sun.
After much searching and reading, I was considering a couple different products. Ghostshield makes several products and I was not sure which would be best, so I emailed them explaining my situations and asked some questions and there recommendation. Note: Ghostshield is not sold in the store [employee did not know the product but did look it up on the computer] and must be ordered.
After getting and answering 3 return emails, asking me more questions [that I though I made clear in the first email] ..... I never got any recommendation from their "Customer Service".
I cleaned the concrete very good with my new power washer and surface cleaner. I measured out the Ghostshield 9500 [$110 delivered to the house] product [25.6 oz in a gallon milk jug and filled up the jug with water.
I applied the product with a sprayer and it went on easily. I did areas about 3 feet wide. The product is supposed to be applied "wet on wet" which I was told [in an email] for the second coat. I was told the second coat should be done after 5 to 15 minutes [I don't really remember what time interval I was told].
With the outside temperature in the mid 80's [and high humidity in South Louisiana] I found that if I waited more that say 3 minutes, the second coat "bedded" up some like it was not being soaked into the concrete. I am not sure if this is a good thing or not. I took an old paint brush and spread the product out some. I did not get any "white" or discolored spots when the job was completed.
Also where I started treating a new area next to a treated area, there was a noticeable color difference that did fade away by the next day.
I had about 750 sq ft in total area that I wanted to treat and this gallon covered the area with just a little left over which I sprayed on a little thicker at the end to use it all up. After completing the job.... I found that I had mixed the sealer just a little "stronger" than 4: 1 while applying it. The spraying took about 2 hours.
With the freshly cleaned and treated [sealed] concrete, it does not show the concrete looking wet while it is raining. The only "problem" I have is that after a rain the water that splashes up a couple feet under the roof stays beaded up and wet all day [water does not evaporate very fast in south Louisiana]. The concrete away from the house has a little slope to allow water to drain and dry. I have a squeegee on order to use when needed.
While doing this project, I also used a crack sealer [different brand] to seal the crack between the house slab and patio slab at a cost of about $ 20. Now I am trying to decide if I want to seal the cracks in the driveway.
