This product stained my driveway terribly. I sprayed a light coat over the driveway and gave it a second coat before it dried as the instructions state, but it ended up stained everything. There are brown and greenish blotches scattered randomly throughout. The label says that staining can occur from over application, but I ended up only using half the recommended volume. One and a half gallons did two coats on over 1500 sq ft, so I'm not sure how I could have over applied the product. Some of the drive way turned out fine, but the random blotches make the drive way look terrible. Not worth the cost.

Product mixed easily. I applied it with a cheap tank sprayer. Went on well and very quickly. I did about 1,000 SQ FT. It has it's chemical effect very quickly. I noticed where I had some overspray the second coat would already not soak into the surface. I observed the water resistant effect the first time it rained. Water simply beads up. It will not soak in. I applied the product to the sidewalk in front of my house, but only to my property line. I cut off the application at a joint in the cement. I have attached a picture of the area where my application ended after having thrown a bucket of water on it. It's easy to see on the bottom, light color cement because of no penetration, on the top, dark color because the water soaks into the untreated cement. These results sell everyone who looks at it on the product. I have sealed concreate driveways since 2005 and this is the best results I have ever seen. And the price is less than the sealer the cement contractor wanted to sell me. (Diamond coat or something like that) If this product lasts like promised it will put all other similar products out of business. I applied this at the end of June, 2016.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Patiorepairguy very capable concrete sealant
I have a broken concrete patio that through the years has become very much a moss garden -- especially on the grout between the broken concrete chunks. That made it very difficult to keep clean. I power washed the patio and, once dry, applied this sealant. It does indeed appear to provide a water proof barrier as the water does bead after a rainfall. In another year or so I'll know how good its purported algae/moss growth retardant capabilities work.
The sealant was very easy to apply and, just as advertised, it does not discolor the concrete in any way. When dry the concrete looks exactly like it did before the sealant was applied.
I'm thus far very pleased with this purchase.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by jrs63006 Great sealer, tough application.
I guess the effort was worth it if the application lasts forever, but I'll have to wait a few years to see.
Overall, it was very easy to mix. Glad that it comes in a concentrate. The next morning, it was easy to see that it was sealed well, and even made it obvious that I had missed a small area.
I would definitely buy this again. My only complaint was that using a roller allowed the sealant to get dirty, which left some darker areas on my driveway.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by HAPPYAGAIN Returned this for the 8500 Version
After purchasing this product, reading reviews and going to the mfg website - I decided to get the 8500 instead. Note that you do not dilute the 8500 and is therefore more expensive to apply.
Here are some of the things I found on Ghostshield products:
Lithi-Tek LS 9500 is a simple and effective way to densify and waterproof interior or exterior concrete. Extremely popular for driveways and sidewalks as well as garages and basements when oil stains are not a primary concern. For best results, two coats are suggested. If Oil Stains are a primary concern the Ghostshield 8505 is a better choice. Ghostshield 8500 may be a better choice for customers in a Freeze Thaw area with no concerns of oil stains.
Can this product be applied over another product? - There appears to be a primer on the concrete already. Does the primer need to be removed before applying this product or will it work 100% over the top of the primer?
You need to remove the primer before applying the Lithi-Tek LS 9500. The concrete needs to be clean and un-sealed/un-primed in order for the product to effectively penetrate and react.

Easily applied with sprayer. Low odor, and covered concrete with one application. Results were excellent

The Invisible Penetrating Concrete Sealer repels salty water (sodium chloride) really well. My garage walls were falling apart in several areas. I removed all the excess concrete that was loose and repaired the affected areas. I applied the Invisible Penetrating Concrete Sealer on the repaired area last year. I was surprised to how well it was repelling the salt water over the winter. Previously, I would have noticed the crumbling of loose concrete but there nothing after the application. I bought some more to protect the remainder of the walls and the floor.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Ssb So far so good.
Let me start out that I have over 3000 sq ft of driveway and patio and I agree with some others, that I had some discoloration (streaking) after applying. But the product clearly states if too much is applied, this can happen. I applied with a sprayer which probably contributed to some over application. I also notice it lightening up after a couple days and a rain. Water rolls right off the drive now and if the product does what it states as far as strengthening - I'll be very pleased!
