Has anyone added numbers to this box? If so, how did you attach them? Thanks.
Asked by: CT718
You can use the 2 inch stick on, reflective numbers, if you are good at aligning correctly.

Does the universal mounting bracket come with the box?

Or do I need to buy that separately?
Asked by: Patricia
No - it is a separate purchase and you have to get either an adjustable bracket or one sized to the underside of the box you purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this box! I was worried at first as it is larger and didn't know how it would look lined up along with the others but it fits in just fine. The mailman is happy it holds more and it looks so good. The mailman commented on "what a nice one it was" and he sees many. The quality is excellent, strong and made well. It should last years. I did buy 2 brackets to give it extra strength on that little 4x4. Installed it myself. I had actually debated and looked for 3 years prior to buying this one. LOVE IT!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Satisfactory Box It's an OK mailbox. I am sort of old school and like the construction of the old metal boxes that you cannot seem to find anymore. Other than that, the box is OK. I do find the magnet catch a bit weak and you really have to play around with the alignment to get the door to shut correctly. The flag is kind of chintzy, but works. Will have to see how it holds up the Oregon winter and storms as that will be the real test. It is a nice looking box, though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong magnet keeps the box closed unlike our old one that flapped open in the rain I liked this so much, I bought one for my neighbor and she built the same stone mailbox. The finish is very nice and classic looking.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap paint The first one we received had damage to the back. I must say that the exchange at the Home Depot on Dale Mabry in Tampa was very easy!!!! The second one was better but I still had to do some bending to get the door to close properly. The paint comes off easily around the edges. I expect I will have to repaint within a few months. This is a relatively inexpensive mailbox and is cheaply made.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from overall good Need to redesign the magnetic latch design, just doesn't feel like a solid grab from the magnet to the door...other than that its a nice looking mailbox. If they redesign the magnet/latch I would recommend the mailbox if not then no.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice box, but our mail is getting wet! Just installed this last week. We had to jury-rig it to get it to fit on our over-sized post. We love the look of the mailbox. The magnet seems a little weak, but is holding the door closed. We have had some very heavy rain with high winds and have found our mail wet inside the closed box twice now. Not sure what is happening. My guess is that the rain is getting between the box and the door since they don't seal well. Wondering if anyone else has had this trouble. Would recommend this if our mail stayed dry, but dry mail is kind of important to us!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Will Not Last a Year Easy to mount during the winter when snowplow destroyed our original mailbox (large ice block, not the blade). Purchased due to size, design and color thinking that it would last. Door cracked during first subzero weather and fell off a few weeks later. Need to address door issue, but the box itself appears to be in very good shape.
