I have large floor to ceiling windows in manhattan.

I am concerned about putting this up and making my windows too reflective, like a saftey hazzord or something if people look at it.....

Answer:
IT IS PLAIN. IT IS NOT DECORATIVE. IT NEEDS THE MIRRORED SIDE TO REFLECT THE HEAT.

Answer:
This isn't decorative.. No patterns or designs .. just tint. From outside, it gives a mirror image but that's the tint.

This will pull the clear cover sheet off. The layer which is covered is the layer that is applied to the window. Make sure you use plenty of application solution on both window and both sides of film. As you pull apart spray solution on the film, this will reduce the static that will built up. After its on the windows, work your way out from the center to the edges to get rid of all bubbles and it will turn out pretty nice. Read Less

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible I bought this wider version b/c of a wider window. It did not work as well as the smaller width roll I bought. This one kept rolling in on itself even though I had someone else helping me. It would not stick to the window. I used an entire roll on one single window due to how many times I had to redo it. August 16, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Worked great but the roll was short 30 inches Not sure how this happened but the roll was not 180 inches. I didn't find this out till after I made my first cut and it was installed. Total lenght was 12' 6" so someone messed up. Pretty hard to take it back to the store after you've already used part of the roll. When you buy make sure there's only one roll, in mine it had a small roll outside the larger roll and it really messed up the project costing me another roll of film and a trip to the store. overall a nice product that's pretty easy to install, just follow the video. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AMAZING DIFFERENCE INSTANTLY!!! First of all...YOU have to buy the kit that is made for the installation.I would not suggest this is an 'owner' project unless you really know HOW to install film. I had a person experienced in the installing. He knew how to cut it. He knew how to clean the window inside FIRST with a no lint towel. He knew how to put the baby shampoo on the bare window then using the tool that is like a mini squeegee to go back and forth over the window to get out the bubbles....heat instantly STOPPED the heat at the window from coming through!!!! \ THIS IS A JOB for someone that knows what they are doing. But the VALUE in the price and even paying someone to put it on is WELL WORTH it!! IMMEDIATE heat reduction is achieved.I had called a service that comes out and does it ALL. But they wanted $450 for ONE window. YOU HAVE TO INSTALL ON A WARM/HOT DAY OR THE FILM WILL NOT ADHERE EASILY. August 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by It WORKS!! Peel, peel, peel!!! My mom missed the part about peeling the backing off and couldn't figure out why it kept falling off the sliding glass doors. She had already thrown away the boxes so I watched the Gila YouTube video and, voila! August 16, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by difficult application this product was a bit too thin to handle easily during installation. August 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to install. . Overall extremely happy with product. 4' sheets easy for one person to install. Larger sheets need two people. Has cooled off back porch immensely. August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very, very effective against Florida stifling heat. Easy to apply....it does take two people. This film is easy to apply, it takes patience. The most difficult step was separating the film from it support roll, it wants to crease. Have an assistant for this step. It looks acceptable from outside, it is association acceptable. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sun blocker Our oak tree fell and the sun was shining directly through the windows, creating a greenhouse in our family room. After my husband and I put up the window film the amount of heat coming through dropped incredibly. Plus the neighborhood deer can't see us during the day because of the reflective coating But we can see them without spooking them. July 19, 2016
