Answer:
This isn't decorative.. No patterns or designs .. just tint. From outside, it gives a mirror image but that's the tint.

This will pull the clear cover sheet off. The layer which is covered is the layer that is applied to the window. Make sure you use plenty of application solution on both window and both sides of film. As you pull apart spray solution on the film, this will reduce the static that will built up. After its on the windows, work your way out from the center to the edges to get rid of all bubbles and it will turn out pretty nice. Read Less

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 393 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Worked great but the roll was short 30 inches Not sure how this happened but the roll was not 180 inches. I didn't find this out till after I made my first cut and it was installed. Total lenght was 12' 6" so someone messed up. Pretty hard to take it back to the store after you've already used part of the roll. When you buy make sure there's only one roll, in mine it had a small roll outside the larger roll and it really messed up the project costing me another roll of film and a trip to the store. overall a nice product that's pretty easy to install, just follow the video. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very, very effective against Florida stifling heat. Easy to apply....it does take two people. This film is easy to apply, it takes patience. The most difficult step was separating the film from it support roll, it wants to crease. Have an assistant for this step. It looks acceptable from outside, it is association acceptable. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Heat control Really helped lower the temp I my office. Glad I put it on. July 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sun blocker Our oak tree fell and the sun was shining directly through the windows, creating a greenhouse in our family room. After my husband and I put up the window film the amount of heat coming through dropped incredibly. Plus the neighborhood deer can't see us during the day because of the reflective coating But we can see them without spooking them. July 19, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don\'t Bother You couldn't get this stuff to look good on a window if you tried forever! There is no way to get out all the ridges and air bubbles without constantly pulling it off and reapplying an inch at a time. It keeps sticking to itself so that we pull it apart you have imperfections in the film. Looks like a complete mess when trying to apply to a large window with 2 people. After pulling off half a dozen times trying to get it to look decent if won't even stick to the window anymore. Used almost an entire bottle of the spray in the separately sold install kit. Returning what is left of this mess and getting my $50 back. June 5, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Heat Control Attempt with Window Film We are trying this heat control window film to eliminate or control the excessive heat through the patio sliders of my daughter's apartment. While this product was easy enough to apply, she had to continuously remove air bubbles for several days post application and the film is still not completely adhered in places a week later. Some of that may be related to the size of the window since we are using this product on slider doors and using huge sheets of film. She thinks it does help cut the solar heat coming through the window, but it still gets pretty hot in her apartment when the termperatures soar. She gave this product a 3 star rating , but would have given it a 4 star IF we had gotten a better looking end result (ie: fully adhered with no bubbles/cracks). June 29, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by did the job I still have corners that aren't completely stuck on the window, but all in all it is doing the job I needed it to do. It blocks out some of the Florida sun, and makes for pretty decent privacy. I would recommend this product if you are on a tight budget like me. It works good, but not great, but better than nothing. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Does Not Cling To Your Window I followed the instructions to a T. Cleaned the window, applied generous amounts of the Gila solution on the window and the film, used the squeegee to remove the excess fluid and within 30 seconds the film would peel off. After several attempts I just used tape on the upper and lower portions of the film to keep it from peeling. For a product of this price, it should work flawlessly and it is anything but that.
