Haven't tried it on pexiglass but it might not cure as well on plastic...would recommend contacting the manufacturer and asking them about pexiglass.

Answer:
It can be installed on anything smooth and flat. If plexiglass is bumpy than bubbles won't be smoothed out with scraper. There is a layer of adhesive on film which goes to window and grabs on to it but can be removed again and moistened a little with window film spray and applied again.

This is not the kit that crates the film. Although there is a aerosol spray that you can spary directly on the window for the frost film effect. Hope this helps. Read Less

Is the film permanent? Or does it remove easily?

If its permanent, will it bubble over time? As well, I've heard that applying the product on the inside it can cause condensation inside the window and cause them to crack.
Is this a product that can avoid these troubles?

Once it's on, it's on pretty good but it can be removed with some work. I removed mine after my first install job because I didn't like how it looked (my fault). I made the solution GILA recommended and got it off with some work.

Answer:
You could use the spray to remove previous tint but It's a waste. Spray a generous amount of water on the film and scrape it off with a razor blade scraper.

No. You need to make a homemade solution. I did it and it worked, just a pain to get off. Get a bunch of razor blades and this:
Gila recommends mixing ¼ tsp. baby shampoo (or FILM AID Application Solution) in a quart of distilled water to clean the glass and install the film. You may need to use vinegar or ammonia-based window cleaner to remove stubborn residues like cigarette smoke.

Complete Window Film Application Kit is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 129.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Unnecessary Several items in this $9 kit are of poor quality or can be substituted. The cutter blade only stays sharp for two windows, a basic razor blade works better. The spray bottle solution can be substituted for water and a cap full of baby shampoo. The squeegee blade can be found for $2 at any hardware store. The lint free towel breaks down quickly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Kit! Definitely worth the price Was questioning whether I actually needed to purchase the install kit to install the window tinting and looking back I'm really glad I did. Has everything you need to do the install and every piece served a purpose. Watched the youtube video going over the installation twice and had no issues.

I thought about using my own squeegee and razor to do the installation, but I'm glad I spent the money on this kit. Everything is there in one place and the sharp little knife is perfectly spaced to give you the correct border gap. Highly recommended.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too small The plastic for applying the film is too small. The spray is great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Useful but not necessary The kit was worth getting as a beginner but after a couple windows the blade in the cutter became dull and we went through all the solution in the spray bottle. After we went on the Gila website we found alternative tools and window solution to use so we didn't have to buy another kit to complete the other windows. Although the kit wasn't the value we were hoping for the Gila window film is an excellent product. It's a must have for us AZ folks! I only recommend the kit for beginners or if you just put the film on a couple windows but if you do your entire home you will spend a fortune in the number of kits you would need to buy.

It says that it is a Complete Window Film Application Kit, but that is not very correct. I had to run one more time to Home Depot to buy a 12" squeegee, which is the most important tool to install the window film. The solution is good enough for installing 15 feet of 36" film. I love the products, which are durable and very useful, but the price is not right, so instead of 5 stars, I gave only 3 stars.
