Answer:
The description on Home Depots website says the hose is NOT lead free. So I wouldn't use it regularly for potable water. But I also don't use toothpaste with fluoride.

Answer:
RV "professionals will tell you NO, unless it's marked "for potable (RV) use." Depending on what kind of chemicals used, it COULD cause a detectable odor or taste.
I have a under-sink water filtration system, so I would use it, as "RV" hoses cost much more for far less quality.

does this hose roll up easily on a hose reel, or do you have to keep aligning it straight so you can actually crank it up onto the reel?

my current no-kink hose is so stiff you can't just roll it on to the hose reel without constantly aligning it up and then even helping it by feeding onto the reel. the so called no-kink also is a joke.

Answer:
Yes ish... I have it on a hose cart and it rolls up fine. The problem with the process is that the hose cart stinks and cannot seem to handle the weight of the 100 foot hose. The 50 foot version works better on the little cart. I have both...

Answer:
In warm weather is absolutely flexible. In 45 degree weather, much less so. You can still coil it in a circle though. Notwithstanding, it is still much better at this than the other non-Flexogen hoses I own
