In less than 2 years of ownership, the neck of this faucet split in half on the bottom side and leaked. Obviously very poor quality metal. I can not recommend this to any homeowner who intends to keep the house for any length of time unless you like replacing kitchen faucets as a hobby.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Tree Was difficult to turn off within 2 months.
Until about 6 months, we were able to get the water to stop dripping if we moved the handle all around in different directions. At about 6 months, we had to purchase a repair kit, which put us back to the original substandard state. The ball, which is hollow, shaves the seals and grommets, and the handle is very loose, regardless of how much it's tightened or how well the ball is seated. Given the opportunity to rethink our decision, we would not buy this faucet.

I just replaced this via Home Depot since it has a Lifetime Warranty.
I originally installed this in May 2012. Almost immediately I noticed corrosion pitting on the thin metal base plate. (The heavy metal parts such as arm and handle, held up well). I figured that the chrome was poorly plated, but had to live with it.
Recently, however, I had to take advantage of the Lifetime Warranty replacement policy. (As an aside, everyone couldn't have been nicer about this, both on the phone and in the store).
I had noticed water dripping down the arm when the faucet was in use. At first I though it was the aerator not tight enough, but using a mirror revealed a 1-inch hairline crack developing on the underside of the arm an inch back from the aerator. The water leaks when it's under pressure. This results in even *more* water bathing the already corroding base.
Based on these two failures, we agreed that the entire unit needed replacing rather than fixing it piecemeal.
I must say it is shocking to pay a fair price for something that barely lasted two years. I guess I'll be repeating the process again and again every two years from now on.
Unfortunately, the re-install puts a lot of wear and tear on the other valves and hoses and gaskets...not to mention my back!

Well, I previously gave this faucet a good review, ignoring the complaints about leaking necks. Then after 2 years of light use in a good salt-free environment, it happened just like all the others. The leaks appeared suddenly toward the back of the swing neck. Water was just spraying out from what looked like a seam or perhaps it just appeared out of nowhere . In any event it went into the trash. Won't buy another one.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DrTS Doesn't last. Worst faucet I've ever had.
After having good luck with Glacier Bay's bathroom faucet, We replaced one like this in the kitchen that the neck had long ago broken off of in our home with another, and it's already leaking heavily around the neck when cold water is on about 50% after about 1 or 2 months. When we got this we also got one for a rental that seems to have problems of its own. Thinking we'd save money but in the end it's more trouble and expense to deal with it. Get a different faucet. This is by far the worst I've ever had because it simply doesn't last.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by pkupchk Less than one year of ownership, faucet neck broke at seam...leaking water when turning from side to side!
We needed a replacement faucet for our kitchen sink and needed it quickly. Ran to Home Depot and with very limited choices (under $100) purchased this item. Installation was fairly easy but we could tell instantly it was not the best made, quality faucet we had ever seen. The product was very lightweight and not made very well. However, we needed a faucet so we installed it. The neck of the faucet was always VERY tight to turn from the start but around the year mark the faucet began spitting water at us every time we turned the faucet neck. The problem has only gotten worse and continues to squirt large amounts of water at the neck seam every time we use it. Not happy at all and will never purchase anything by this manufacturer or recommend this item to a friend.
