Although the cabinet looks decent, the side mount mirrors used for a surface mount installation do not attach with the screws provided because the holes in the frame where the screws mount are drilled too large thus the screws provided do not grab. We had to go to our local hardware store and find another way of attaching the side mirror brackets. I'd rather pay a little more money for a cabinet that has the proper sized mounting hardware. Not very happy!

Very good product for a small space. It was pretty easy to install, but be very careful when placing the side mirrors on - once they're put in place, you can't move them if they're off a little. I like that the door opens nice and wide - the inside mirror is very useful.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SarahR Great value
This medicine cabinet looks great with nice features (like the mirror on the inside of the door and the back of the cabinet, and that the door opens almost flush with the wall). In the store the brand is Glacier Bay. To open the cabinet there is a space to put your fingers on both the side and bottom of the door -- my only complaint is that the corner piece of that space is made of plastic, not metal and seems a little cheap (photo attached). The rest of it does not look cheap though, and overall I'm very happy with this purchase.

I purchased two cabinets. In one of the units, there is a sharp edge in the corner where you pull the door open. The other unit was okay. The hinges are excessively large and bulky. The cabinet exterior looks nice, however the build qualify is suspect. Noticed the defect after my contractor installed the unit. I wish Home Depot would carry more selection like Kohler.

This is heavy because of all the mirrors, but it fits in very well with an updated 80's bathroom. Didn't want to lose the storage of the old medicine cabinet (which was ugly and stuck out from the wall with off-white metal trim). This has a great "edge-on" view. You may find, as we did, that you have to adjust the opening if you're trying to do a retrofit. Very attractive!

The mirror is held on by double sided tape that will fail over time and the mirror will fall off after several years.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Ra87 Good look, but poorly made shelves
The cabinet was easy to install and looks great, but the shelves were made really poorly. They do not extend the full width of the cabinet, so there is a large gap between the side of the cabinet and the shelf, making them slide around a lot. I ended up getting double sided tape to put on the plastic pegs to keep the glass in place, but it's unfortunate I had to do that in the first place.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tracy Quality as high as Kohler - pleasantly surprised
I'm very picky and did a lot of research before choosing this cabinet. I was ready to spend money, shopping at a high end bath fixture store, where I saw Kohler and Alfina cabinets at the top of their range, not their cheaper cabinets. I inspected these expensive brands (2-4x the price of this one), and the features were very similar. The hinges are bigger than I'd like, but the other brands were the same size. The glass shelves have plastic clips to hold them in place, but so did Kohler Verdera. This cabinet also has the same slot built into the edge of the mirror for your finger to open the door without touching the mirror and desilvering it over the years, just like the high end cabinets. I gave this five stars for the surprising value and quality of this cabinet. The only drawback is the lack of different sizes, which the expensive cabinets do offer. If this is your size, go for it - it looks as expensive as the fancier brands. I know not all Glacier Bay brand items get high reviews, but this one is worth considering.
