Answer:
It comes in chrome but I don't think it comes in a longer length. The 16 inch length is designed to be installed on 16 inch on center studs so if there was a longer size it would have to 32 inches.

Answer:
Not from Home Depot. I think the length issue has to do with the tubing size and the spacing between studs in the wall.

Answer:
Apologies, but the only Chrome model I see online is the same length. Each store has a special order bath catalog you can view at the Special Services desk there to see if a similar one is offered via special order.

Answer:
Hi 4mylights,
Yes, these grab bars may be installed at any angle, the most important consideration is to make the bar is as easy as possible for the user to grab. Also make sure it is properly installed and anchored to assure it will support the load.

Rated 5.0 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent product - rugged yet attractive Unlike larger, chrome, commercial grab-bars; this looks good in our bathroom. The white "fits in" with the white toilet, sink, and trim we already have. It's a really rugged product - without "looking clunky". We feel safe using it. April 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great grab bars We installed these grab bars when my husband needed them. He says the size is perfect for getting a good grip. We will also be installing them at my Dad's house, he's 92 and has fallen a couple of times. April 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product. Great bar and easy to install. Just make sure to get different screws. The heads on the ones supplied strip out easily. January 28, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Shower Assist Bar I own at least five of these items in various lengths. I use them to assist me and my wife getting up and down stairs into our mobile home. They are very stable and secure. BUT you must be sure to mount them into a stud. The only weakness is the mounting screws.. they are cheep flat head, phillips head screws. The head tends to strip very very easily. NOTE: when you drill into the stud MAKE sure to use the proper diameter bit. Then make sure to put some kind of lubricant on the threads. I use hand soap and rub the threads on a bar of dry soap. They go in much easier. When it becomes hard to twist beware.. this is where the head strips out. Take it easy and they should work.. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by good product i bought this assist bar as a hanger for an X rays protective shield in a dental office when is not in use. you can customize the length size as i did to fit it in narrow space ( i got the 16 inches bar and customize it at 14 inches) cutting it with a jigsaw using a blade for metal. . good product and quality.
