I purchased 3 bars, put one in the shower and two on each side of the shower. Installation per instructions were easy.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Bobby Excellent design and quality
The long screws require significant effort to screw into studs. The benefit, of course, is they will hold the weight of any individual. The caps snap over the screws for a clean looking installation.

the grab bars should be made 16" and 32". So they would line up with the 2x6 framing.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by RichE valuable addition to my bath/shower
I like the solid feel of this product. Nice brushed nickel finish. Only "challenge" was not a fault of the product but the difficulties in finding the studs to screw it into. Stud finders do not work through tiles and bathroom framing can be unreliable to find studs because of plumbing, vents, and electrical work.I had to return my first one and exchange it for this shorter one because of that. Once found, though installation was easy and resulted in a solid grab bar that provides peace of mind and support for those with reduced mobility.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by ss442 I have installed a number of these for good reason.
In the remodeling business we frequently are tasked with installing hardware in showers to aid families who have a family member with even a temporary malady such as a broken leg, knee surgery or other physical impairment. Depending upon the medium this bar is to be attached to can determine the difficulty of install. Porcelain requires some very hard tool bits for example. But with the right fasteners these bars function well and look great. I would advise all tub/showers install grab bars for general safety.
