I installed two of these recently. It seems the tank moves from the front to the back a lot. Is this normal? I'm not sure why it's this loose.

Answer:
No that is not normal. In order for the Tank not to move it requires some rubber bumpers to be installed. There should be a set of 2 in the installation kit provided. If not please refer to the contact # of the manufacture.

Thank you For your question. The water level in the bowl dependents on how high the float is inside the tank. The higher the float, the more water in the bowl.

Answer:
Jim,
Bear in mind that with a 14" rough-in, you can accommodate any 12" rough-in quite easily (and these units are much more common). However, you will of course have about 1 to 3-inches of space between the wall and tank. If this is the exact scenario you are looking to prevent, then please follow the link to a list of all 14-inch rough-in units offered by The Home Depot:

2-piece 1.1 GPF/1.6 GPF Dual Flush Round Toilet in White is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 52.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ok but not the best Toilet sits uneven top/ bottom - not thrilled with water saver feature since it doesn't hold much water in bowl to wash down.....

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst toilet ever!!! Just had this toilet installed and it will have to be replaced. Looking at the reviews online, saw it had a high rating and bought it thinking that it would be a good choice. It does not have enough power to flush waste. The bowl holds very little water and there is not enough water to properly flush the waste and leaves waste on the sides of the bowl if someone uses it. It is disgusting and always dirty. You basically have to clean the bowl after every flush. Also, the silver dial, the flushing mechanism on the top, spins around, does not say in place. Absolutely hate it. Do not buy this toilet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Ever This is the second one that I purchased, the first being seven months ago. This toilet does use less water and I love the round seat vs elongated. Unfortunately, the round seat must be ordered and is a lot more expensive than the elongated seat. One of my Consumer Reports issue recommended this toilet and I am very happy with this buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Toilet - Great Price We bought this toilet when priced 86.00, if I had know How if would perform; I would have bought one to replace in all bathrooms- I have had this toilet over 7 months and wasn't sure how the toilet would work on heavy loads -- but it has worked the same as our regular old toilet (sometimes you have to flush twice on either toilet ). Flushing twice is not occurring more times on the dual flush - I was worried about this and that is why I only bought one I will be coming back to replace all the toilets in my house - all So a consumer reports best buy

Rated 4 out of 5 by from i have this toilet in my master bath and i love it the only thing i say is the toilet paper stays... i have this toilet in my master bath and i love it the only thing i say is the toilet paper stays to the front and it takes 2 flushes i would not use this in a small bath it is long from front to back so it would stick out to far

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great price, stylish, comfortable, and works great. What more can u ask for We needed a new toilet because ours was leaking from a crack in the tank. At first I wasn't thrilled that my fiancee brought this one home, but the price was right. It took about an and a half to remove the old toilet andget this one in, everything we needed was in the box even the toilet seat (besides the tools of course). I thought we would need to buy a wax ring because other toilet reviews said the one that came in the box wasnt thick enough to seal properly, but the one that came with this one worked great and I don't see how it could be bigger or better. I was at first concerned that if the flusher broke it might be hard to find parts for because of the button flushing style, but seeing how it works now I think it will actually hold up better than a lever flusher (that in my experience are always coming apart and needing to be fixed lol). It is more comfortable than our old toilet and I now believe he got a great deal on this toilet. We have only had it for about a week now so if things change I will update but for now I am very satisfied and would recommend to others searching for a new toilet. This review is for the Glacier Bay 2pc 1.1GPF/1.6GPF duel flush elongated toilet in white. We got this on sale for $89.00 +tax ♥.
