25 in. x 24 in. Bi-view Surface-Mount Medicine Cabinet in Java: This is a great addition to any bathroom. You know all that extra stuff like q-tips, cotton balls, and soap bars that normally fills the bottom of the bathroom vanity drawers, well, here is a way to organize it. Plus, it has a mirror. (The mirror was good quality) I think it is high quality and the perfect size to break up the blank wall right above the toilet. I’ve attached pictures. This is a great product and easy to install. It took me maybe 20 minutes to get it hung. I’m a small person and hung it all by myself. I’m very happy.

Purchased 2 and both have the same 1/2 inch gap and a bit crooked where doors meet when closed. However, the price, size, style and color were right.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by pegnc Easy Update Plus Added Storage
We replaced our outdated medicine cabinet with this stylish solid constructed cabinet. One of the reasons I chose this cabinet was because it was surface mount. No cutting into the walls or construction needed. Cabinet is pre-assembled and packaged well. Included are easy to follow instructions and the cabinet can be installed in drywall or stud mount. It is perfect for the extra storage needed in the bathroom. The bi-view mirror works by giving you a complete mirror. The doors open up to a 90 degree angle giving you full access and (2) adjustable shelves. Plenty of room. It also matches our vanity helping complete our update.

I installed this cabinet as a replacement for an in-wall cabinet. The first thing I should mention is that this cabinet is very dark. Much darker than it appeared on my computer screens.
The cabinet is made from some sort of MDF type material with a paper covering as the outer image. The mitres aren't exceptionally tight, and much of the piece is stapled together.
It comes with two internal shelves. The door hinges are fully adjustable. I am in the middle of a bathroom reno, an I put it up early to temporarily cover the old hole in the wall. Working alone, it installed easily.
In summary, I guess my expectations were a little high for a cabinet at this price point. If you need an inexpensive piece that does the job, this will do it. For what it's worth: as a person who only looks at it and uses it functionally, my wife loves it. Whereas, I can be very picky about minor details.

This is a very nice medicine cabinet which replaced an old dated oak one. It is a dark brown which is called Java. I like that there are two adjustable shelves, as well as the bottom. It holds quite a bit of bathroom supplies that I completed later on after the pictures were taken. I did not have any trouble mounting this cabinet, with two of us doing it. It does not seem to be coming apart as some other reviewers have reported. I have been happy with the quality of Hampton Bay products so far. This unit comes with 2 nickel knobs that match the other fixtures in the bathroom.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by L111 Inexpensive, low quality, but good enough for the low price
For the price, you can't expect much. I would say this medicine cabinet is lower quality than Ikea products, and is made of only fiberboard and pressboard covered in a thin plastic simulated wood veneer. It is stapled together, and if you drop it when pulling it out of the box, it will probably fall to pieces. If you expect Fine Woodworking quality, look elsewhere.
But with that said, it's just a medicine cabinet. It hangs on a wall, doesn't need to be strong or sturdy, and is largely cosmetic and utilitarian. From 3+ feet away, it looks plenty good and it does its job well.
There are small gaps at some of the miters that expose the cheap fiber board underneath the plastic veneer, and there is a full 1/4" gap between the two doors, but for the reasonable price and the convenience of not having to build one myself, I'm willing to live with those flaws. In a month I won't even notice them. But if those little things bug you, keep shopping and go for a higher price range.
I recently installed the Glacier Bay Metro Java Vanity in our 'extra' bathroom, and this medicine cabinet matches it well enough. It looks good to me, is functional, and was very easy to install. This smaller size works well above the smaller sized Metro vanity. I think the larger version of this medicine cabinet would have been too big.
Regarding some of the complaints I read in the other reviews:
1. It is not high quality--if you can set your expectations very low, I think you'll be happy with it.
2. No, it does not come with screws or mounting hardware. No big deal, just pick up a small box of 2" screws or wall anchors at Home Depot while you are there.
3. If you pick it up at the store, make sure the box has zero dents or damage, and it wouldn't be a bad idea to open the box and inspect the cabinet in the store before you purchase. The soft press board and plastic veneer is very easy to dent, scratch, or damage, so there could be damage even with a perfect box.
Now that it is installed, I'm perfectly happy with it, it looks plenty good enough for me, and it covers the blank wall above my vanity. One more item checked off of the endless list of home improvement projects.

Comes pre assembled all you have to do is mount it to the wall and put the knobs on.
Looks nice but cheaply made all trim on top is stapled and was separating when i removed it from box. I tapped it back in with a hammer. Looks nice on wall.
