Customer Questions & Answers

Does the faucet have a pull out hose? Can one be attached to this style faucet - if not?

I can't tell from the description if this faucet pulls out but if you zoom in, looks like it might?
Asked by: pommom04
I have the $299 model. Yes, the faucet has a pull out hose. I don't know about the other model.

Can you fit a 5 gallon bucket in the sink?

the product details don't tell what the actual sink dimensions are, will a 5 gallon bucket fit in and be able to fill at the faucet?
Asked by: misterp
No, unfortunately it's designed with a nice shelf which encroaches on the actual interior sink space.

does this product come with Faucet on Right side

Asked by: Syed
As far as I know, no, it doesn't. Because of the shape of the sink and the ledges around it, a sink with a right side faucet would need an entirely different mold; it may be that Glacier Bay decided only to make one style, because this is the only one I've seen. PS I thought I wanted a right side faucet because of the way the cabinet fits in my laundry room, but I'm finding the left side faucet works just fine.

What is the height of the basin itself?

Previous answer mentioned specs on page, listing basin height as 34.3 inches. This seems to be an error since cabinet height is also listed as 34.3 inches. Please review and respond.
Asked by: JBNY
The inside depth of the basin is 11 1/2" deep.

27 in. W x 21.8 in. D Colorpoint Laundry Sink is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 81.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality product for the cost and fairly easy to install I purchased the All-In-One laundry sink and cabinet to replace an existing basic laundry tub, expecting to require a plumber to install it, but decided to tackle it myself. It's a pretty complete kit and was not that difficult to install. The cabinet is preassembled, the faucet was an easy install, and the plumbing was not that difficult. I did have to remove the previous plumbing and install an adaptor from the original waste line to the provided drain pipes. It did require some pipe cutting and glueing, so you may want to hire a plumber if this is beyond your comfort level.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is a very good product! It has a substantial cabinet, with good plumbing fixtures that work well. We had an excellent plumber install it, so I don't know how it would go if one was a novice. He used silicone to seat the drain piece and to seat the sink on the cabinet. Some of the plumbing parts are plastic and I could see where one might torque them too tight and end up with a cracked washer. Ours went in smoothly. The sink is a lite tannish granite looking acrylic. It is shiny so it shouldn't absorb stains. it is plenty deep and has a great inner shelf to put things on. Two cons are- the drain piece that you can see in the sink isn't beveled so the lip catches water and the bottom of the sink is flat, not beveled, so there is usually some water sitting in it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice cabinet for the price Easy way to upgrade your laundry room look. The cabinet did take a couple of weeks to arrive (shipped to the store) after the order was placed. Easy install, except that my plumbing was routed through my floor instead of wall, so i had to modify the bottom to accommodate; that also meant I had to remove the pull out drawer, which would have been a nice feature. The sink drain was a cheap plastic that you may want to replace and the slope of the sink & the fact that the drain doesn't sit perfectly flush means some water remains in the sink. Not a huge deal so far. Overall, very pleased & a definite improvement over the old-time freestanding laundry sink that was replaced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the extra $100.00 I had originally bought a sink and cabinet at my local Home Depot. It was $100 less than this one, but I had seen this one at a Home Depot in Cincinnati while visiting family. I returned the less expensive one and bought this one online. Well worth the extra $100 due to the overall quality, and the pull out faucet, and sliding drawer that this one has. This is a great value for the money, don't go cheaper. This was only available online in my area.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good value This laundry cabinet is just what the doctor ordered and works as advertised. I would have given it 4 stars but was not thrilled with the plastic legs which came with the unit. I also put a piece of half inch plywood across the bottom to give the cabinet a bit more strength. I needed to raise the unit about 8 inches so I found some more sturdy metal 2 inch diameter legs that had an additional 1 inch of adjustment so I could level it up as needed. See the attached finished installation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Product We needed a large sink for cleaning large items (of coarse). Had the perfect spot and found the perfect sink. We left the legs off since we all-ready had the floor built up to cover the previous home owners hack-job. The sink is flimsy but stiffens up with the addition of silicone adhesive. We had to buy other drain parts because we mounted the cabinet about 3" from the wall (thank you previous home owner). Less than $5.00. Faucet is of satisfactory quality, Glacier Bay must have upgraded that part. We really like the corner faucet mount with pull out sprayer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product for the price and easy solution for stylish laundry tub I was searching for a laundry tub that didn't look like a laundry tub - this vanity tub offered the perfect soloution! I am pleased with the quality, style and price. The only thing is that we replaced the plastic drain strainer that was included a metal one; otherise I think we could have had problems with leaks in the tub.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classy Looking Laundry Sink Really nice looking Laundry Sink. Good finishes. The drawer and pull-out faucet are both nice. Overall, I'm very happy with it, although there are a couple things that a reasonably competent DIY-er could improve. It says it comes with the strainer and tail pipe, but mine did not. It's a bit on the short side, and was about an inch shorter than the previous sink it replaced. The feet that come with it are awful. Luckily, I was able to salvage the adjustable feet from the old sink and install them on this one, which also lifted it up to a more comfortable height. The Sink Tub forces the top of the cabinet to stand off the wall about 1/4". I added some plywood to the top and bottom screw-plates so the cabinet would sit even when I screwed it to the wall. This also leaves some room between the cabinet and wall for the sink rim to fit in. Being able to install the sink last is helpful if you plan to mount the cabinet to existing studs. I also used scrap 3/4" plywood inside the cabinet as strength plates when mounting the toilet paper and towel bars.
