While reading the reviews of the Swanstone Composit sink I ordered (Model #KS03322SB.010) I noticed that someone mentioned needing a more shallow type Sink Drain Basket for which her plumber thanked her. Can you help me find that item?

Strainer failed, with part that goes into drain bent too much to use without constant
repair. I do not want to buy the whole assembly and reinstall it.

Answer:
Definitely Yes. That is how I use mine. I currently use this basket strainer because of the way it is built. My sink does not leak anymore and the undersink plastic/pvc tubing is compatible. Will fit like a glove.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 23 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to install The strainers were medium priced (not the cheapest or the most expensive), but look nice in my stainless sink. They were easy to install, and in fact, the longest, hardest part of the process was removing the old baskets. May 27, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Plumber liked it, we liked it Spouse didn't like the Kohler model because it said 'Kohler' on the rim and disposal already carried an ad on the rim. Other Glacier Bay sink strainer plumber refused to install. This one works; everybody is happy. April 23, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not the best, but it works New double sink so needed a new strainer. Faucet and other stuff was brushed nickel but those color strainers seemed a little expensive so bought this, still matches up well (unless you are really OCD). Install went smooth but the screws and threads in the plate are cheap. Don't torque down too hard as they will start to bend over and feel like they are stripping. I like the spring clip on the strainer, you can have strainer held in place but sitting up a little to let water flow under it and let it do it's strainer job, and if you want to stop it up just push down to seal it. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Rubber has terrible odor The product is nice overall. It installed easily, though the design of the plate which the screws pass through causes provides uneven pressure on the gasket compression ring. Despite this, I attained a good seal. The sealer plug works well--just push it in and it locks in place. When not in use, it sits just below flush, allowing dishes to sit level in the sink. There is a major issue: the rubber on the stopper (and gasket ring) smells horrible. I installed it 5 days ago and it is still stinking up the kitchen. My experience with this issue is that there is no fix, it just needs time to off-gas, which could take weeks or even months. This is unacceptable, and I am still considering ripping it out. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very poorly made. Do not buy. The screws slip. I am starting to avoid all Glacier Bay products because of poor construction. January 20, 2015
