CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 51 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Bargin This is just one of my recent purchases at The Home Depot. They were used on a new under the counter double sink. I also purchased a 36" Nutone under cabinet range hood that fitted nicely on our new Glacier Bay Cabinets (also bought at The Home Depot. I did all the instalation with the help of my wife (it was that easy to install). Now we are enjoying our kitchen (I do most of the cooking at home). Thank you Home Depot and your super qualified personal that helped us from the design stage to helpful tips on the final stages of our proyect. And yes even the floor is from The Home Depot and we installed it ourselves. November 11, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy installation and good price. Decent item for a good price. It was an easy install also. September 2, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A strainer is a strainer... OK, let's be real here. This is merely a sink strainer, not a car, not a megabuck computer or sound system. It's job in life is to cork your sink and strain food particles and other stuff from going down and clogging up a perfectly good drain. How hard is that? Does this item by Empire do the job? Yes. This product is designed to work with multiple brands, but since I don't have 23 different brand kitchen sinks in my house. I have but one, and this strainer does its job with my sink. For the money, it does the job without draining your wallet and that, to me, is a good thing. I give it 5 stars for installation (how hard is it to put it in your drain really? LOL) Otherwise, it is a simple tool that does a simple job and doesn't need a huge rating as such. In short, it works, is not expensive; just buy it if you need it. December 10, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Waste of time Leaked from every possible spot. You get what you pay for!!! Beware May 24, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Stay away from all glacier bay sink strainers I recently installed this one. I had a problem attaching the tailpiece to the bottom of the strainer. If I tighten a little too much by hand it would slip. so I barely tightened it and so it leaked. They stamp the threads in this rather than machine cut them in. I thought the problem was the cheap plastic ring that the plastic pipes have so I got a metal tailpiece and used a metal nut and this was even worse as it would not even tighten at all. Finally I gave up on it after installing a more expensive Glacier bay one and same results. I paid 38.00 for a Kohler and not a problem any more. It may cost 30.00 more but is well worth not having to make about 5 trips and three installs to finally have my sink not leak all over everything under the sink. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT. IT IS ACTUALLY HOMEDEPOT BRAND AND NOT A GOOD ONE AT THAT. The plus side Homedepot was good about refunding me on the other two sink strainer that did not work. April 10, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product and easy to install Buy the wrench to loosen the old one and also helps with proper fit on the new one. January 28, 2014
