CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.1 out of 5 by 9 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Worked out just fine I don't think the original one was installed well, it started to leak at putty and the bottom screw threads did not hold the pipe will. I put this one and and no leaks or issues. Looks very nice as well. September 16, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Does the job, a little pricey We bought this to replace a failing drain. Our sink is stainless and cheaper stainless options are out there, but this seemed to match the finish better. Installs like most other drains out there. Let's hope it lasts. April 8, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by It Works We had a new countertop installed that included a built in sink but no strainers. So we bought these. They seem sturdy and pretty basic. Installation was normal. They do the job. June 11, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not recommended. Can't replace the strainer We purchased two of these in brushed nickel when we remodeled our kitchen. Thought that by spending the extra money, they would last. Not difficult to install and they looked great but after 2 years, one of the strainers broke. When we tried to replace it, we were only able to find cheap replacement strainers. When we called Home Depot and Glacier Bay to see about ordering a replacement, we were told you couldn't just get the strainer--they only sold the whole assembly and that "Most people replace the entire unit when the strainer breaks." That seems a bit excessive for a broken strainer. Expected better from a higher end unit like this and will not looking at Glacier Bay next time! February 7, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Single use only I bought #2 of these for a new double sink installed 3 years ago. The original installer didn't install them properly and they started leaking. I took them out and tried to reset them with new gaskets and putty. Unfortunately the threads and nuts are machined so poorly that it was inpossible to tighten the nut enough to get a good seal. They looked OK, but apparently the threads were stripped. I expected a little more quality considering the price paid. On the plus side the finish looked almost new after 3 years. January 2, 2012
