72 in. Minial Tension Shower Rod in Oil Rubbed Bronze is rated 2.8 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from engineered... I can't imagine what they were thinking when they made this. The mechanism for adding tension is a plastic screw and housing in the rod. The housing expands to press into the sides of the rod as you screw it to fit snug and stop the rod from slipping. HOWEVER the screwing action causes the rod to shorten, thus you are at the height of tension when you are first setting the rod in place. The only way I got this in was to lengthen past where it would fit, while not holding it in place, and then forcibly jamming it into place. This leaves the rod in place with MINIMAL TENSION (faceplam). On second thought maybe this is a joke. Great joke, you got me. 5/5 TL;DR - Do not buy if you enjoy having your shower curtain stay up

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Check product before buying I got two, one of which was cracked (barely visible) and subsequently it frequently falls down. I could not return it since I had oppened the wrapping and only then the crack was apparent. Installation is challenging since instructions are not very clear. Pretty pricey for its poor quality

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent rod - lacks a really strong internal spring The rod looks great. Very nice, but the spring is a bit weak. The internals contain some plastic and don't hold up to a really strong installation. This was fine with me because we use it in the guest bath and because it is a pressure installation I didn't want it punching through the drywall. If you are installing this against tile, you might want to find one with a bit stronger internal mechanism. Also, if I was putting this in my kid's room I would definitely have returned this for a more secure item. Kids can be tough on the shower curtain - jerking it open and closed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does what is needed The shower rod fits my retro décor well, was easy to install (once we figured out we were twisting it the wrong way) and, so far, has done the job I need it to do--hold up my shower curtain.
