Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DO NOT BUY THIS ONE!!! This shower rod will not stay up, not even with no curtain. We thought it was just a fluke when we came home to find the first one we bought on the floor. We put it back up again (with a bit of difficulty), and it didn't fall again for about a week. After six weeks of this, we purchased a second one. We are now looking for one that will actually stay up. At our previous residence, a tension rod stayed up for many years, so we know that one has to be out there somewhere. We just know that, if Glacier Bay is on the packaging, it will not go home with us. December 8, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Shower curtain rod The product could be self-assembled. The paper instructions, however, accompanying the product were unclear and ambiguous. January 1, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by HORRIBLE! CHEAP! DYSFUNCTIONAL!! HORRIBLE! AVOID! Insufficient tension to hold a shower curtain liner and the cheap (REALLY CHEAP plastic tensioners in side simply break if you over-tension them ... and really, there is no way to know. I will be returning these tonight. June 18, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by bought a shower rod just a regular shower curtain, but it works great! September 30, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by not quite what the label calls it The label calls it a tension rod, but it is not the expected unit with a spring that you tension by turning it until it fits tightly. It is a twist lock rod, which you have to manually set to the desired length, and then pull it into place to hold. It worked, and it is a nice looking rod, good finish and looks like it will hold up.
