Rated 1 out of 5 by garbage! I spent the extra money thinking I was getting better quality. The caps on the ends constantly slide out of place and 6 months later it's all rusty looking. What a waste of money. I will buy plastic next time September 15, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by This rod does not stay up! The rod has a lovely finish put it does not stay up. It fell several times since I put it up and then the rubber end broke. I'm going to return the two I bought. August 1, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor Performance This shower rod looks good, but performs too poorly to be worth it. First, it takes quite some time to get it to tension properly (generally have to keep turning for several minutes). Once the tension is there and I follow the directions to turn the very end of the rod to complete the tightening process, everything seems fine. However, inevitably, the rod loses its tension and falls down at least once a day making it necessary to repeat the painful installation process all over again. It's just not worth it. Since the return period has passed, I will likely mount it with screws. The metal ends slide off revealing a thick, wide piece of plastic that it appears I can drill through to create mounting holes. Rated 1 out of 5 by doesn't lock in place properly The instructions for this are not detailed enough. You'd think that installing a tension rod would be quick and simple, but the directions are incomplete, so we had a difficult time getting the rod to properly lock into place. After lots of fiddling, we finally figured it out on our own and got it to lock and tightened up the tension. Or so we thought...the rod only held up for 5 days in a shower we don't even use. It fell down, I'm guessing because the "locking" mechanism doesn't actually lock, which was what we kept having issues with during installation. I'd love to return and exchange it for a better product, but we threw away the packaging. How does a $29 shower rod not even maintain tension for 5 days? So disappointing. June 3, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Horrible tension rod This shower rod does not tighten down at all. I would not recommend it. I am returning mine. September 22, 2013
