The hardest part was insuring that drilling the mounting holes didn't compromise any internal wiring. Very easy to install, working fine for several weeks now.

This white Assist Bar perfectly matched our bathroom fixtures and has made it so easy to pull ourselves up from a sitting to a standing position. It was very easy to install AND is very sturdy.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by Veep Looks wise this is not something I would like to purchase but the choices at Home Depot were very limited.
This product does work. It is easy to install but I would have gone for something that looks better. The local Home Depot store only carried one other brand but it was more expensive and too bulky. For the price I paid this was a good deal. Since I installed this on a dry wall in my guest bathroom I had to use better anchors to make sure it does not come apart when pulled with a reasonable force.

I've been a fan of these for the last year and a half now.
I've yet to see anything better for the price.
With only 1 issue, These grab bars are great for the purpose I put them to.
I have bought and installed two of these...
On both my own house and that of my aunt, I use them on the side entrances as an entry assist. They fit exactly between the main house door and the storm door even with both doors closed. They are small and unobtrusive but large enough for one to reach out for, and can be placed at the perfect height for them to grab and use as an assist to stepping into the house. They are very solid and have a good feel...
Were it not for one thing, these would have rated a full 5 stars...
That one thing was the screws that came with these grab bars. These come with a decorative and painted white screw. I stripped 2 and completely twisted apart a 3rd attempting to put them into predrilled holes. I finally gave up and used far better tempered solid black non-painted screws that were also slightly longer but still fit the holes. With those screws, these bars are *SOLID*, I am a big guy, and I did some really heavy pulling and testing on them, they did not budge an inch.
Since installation a year and a half ago on my own house, and about 6 months on my aunts house, no issues with either.
