I'm currently just using a rubber band around the split tube and a washer on the part that the tube goes onto to limit how far it can slip over it. Seems to have solved it for now. You can also try to glue the tube, but I doubt it will be strong enough. I would try maybe half a dozen layers of shrink tubing as long as they fit tightly around the tube when shrunk. As far as the rubber button, I haven't had issues with mine so far. There's probably a retaining lip on the inside that just needs to be popped in the right place. Hope this helps. Read Less

The faucet, although it really looks nice, is very cheap. I replaced mine twice, (thanks Home Depot) but eventually bought a Moen after a year. I was also unable to locate any replacement parts. I would ask HD to replace the faucet, OR,,,,,give you a $50 store credit to buy a decent kitchen faucet.

After installing our new Glacier Bay sink and faucet (model # sm2034), we barely have a trickle of water coming from the faucet. The water pressure was perfect in our previous sink and is normal everywhere else in the house. What could be wrong?

I detached the feeder lines and tested them into a bucket, they run fine with high pressure, so it's not the valve too tight. I used a shop vac and an air compressor on low pressure (60 psi) to blow out the lines of the faucet opening the faucet valve to hot and cold. No change: the water only flows about 10% of what it should. Very frustrated. Also, the hot water lead-off to the dishwasher works at full flow, so it must be the faucet assembly. Bum product, IMHO. Answer:
You must purge the water lines before installing the faucet. This removes debri that may have been knocked loose in the lines. The faucet head needs to be taken off and cleaned and the lines purged.

When i replace a sink I replace all the valves also. Check your valves to ensure their completly open too. Sometime sediment gets in and messes things up.
The sink faucet may also have a flow restricter installed. unscrew the sediment filter at the end of the faucet and see if the the water pressure is higher.

I ended up buying a new faucet after a little more than a year. This is a very nice unit for the price, but the faucet is of the cheap variety. I was unable to find replacement parts, and just bit the bullet for a higher quality one. If you could get them to give you a break on a new one, I would recommend that. You will most likely have other problems with it eventually.
MOEN is about the last brand that is still made in the US. Top notch, at least I have had excellent
results with them, and they stand behind their product too.

Home Depot installed this and it has a "thump" in the top curve of the faucet and doesn't retract well...the weight hits the underside of the sink...Is that right?

Correct installation is critical. The weight must be at the bottom center of the curve when the faucet supply hose is in the fully retracted position (the normal lowest hanging position of the supply hose). There should be no clunk sound which indicates that the weight is hitting on something under the sink, either the faucet metal water suppy lines that the hoses screw onto from the wall connectors. This can need adjustment because these three parts are very close together as they go up into the faucet. If the pull-up path (when you are using the spray) is snagging on something it will be harder to pull out the sprayer: or if the retract path for the weight (when you put the faucet head back in the faucet cup) is dragging on something on it's way down (the clunk you might be hearing). If it is one of these, then use a tie to pull and strap any hoses blocking a straight drop path for the weight out of the way. If the weight is landing on something you have stored under the sink, move it out of the way. Or, if the weight is landing on or sliding over or to the side of drain pipes under your sink you will need to reposition the weight so that it can drop or pull up without having to land on or slide passed the drain pipes. It took two adjustments and a strap pulling the hoses away a little bit but that was only about five minutes. Read Less

No, the weight is probably hitting a supply valve, or the drain trap. Get a helper to pull the sprayer in and out and while you look under the sink. You should see a large metal weight on the hose. Watch and see if it gets stuck and some point, it may get caught on the valve sticking out of the wall. If it is getting stuck there then try loosening the screws on the weight and slide it up towards the sink Read More

Answer:
Thank you for your question. The best way to determine where to place the weight is to put the sprayer into the faucet and then underneath the sink where the hose makes the loop back up toward the faucet connection is where you want to place the weight. It should not hit the bottom of the sink.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by stainless sink After a week, very pleased with this sink. We did not use the faucet that came with it as it was too tall. Love the racks ! I'm amazed at how much more space it has than the old one that fit in the same counter cut out. I can wash my pots without splashing water everywhere. July 5, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ALL-IN-ONE DUAL MOUNTSTAINLESS STEEL 33IN. 2 HOLE DOUBLE BOWL KITCHEN SINK I DIDN'T KNOW IT CAME WITH THE FAUCET SO I BOUGHT ONE. I HAVE TO SAY IT'S WORTH THE PRICE FOR THIS PRODUCT. PANS FIT IN THE LARGER SINK. June 9, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't buy!! Rusts easily This sink set looks really nice, but rusts easily and some of the components do not work well. Almost immediately after installing it I noticed what I thought were stains in the sink. Then four months after installation, I saw small rust spots on the inside of the sink that did not go away when I cleaned the sink. When I looked underneath the sink, there were HUGE rust spots all over the sink. I now have to replace this sink FOUR MONTHS after installation. The discoloration I saw a few days after installation was actually the early stages of rusting. Stay away from this sink. Additionally, the soap dispenser is cheaply made and does not work well.
