I have also used straight vinegar on chromed items and through the coffee maker too, that have solved my water stain or slow coffee maker problems--Be SURE to rinse thoroughly

I have had my sink for three years and the only time it has had rust is when I have left a knife or
cat food can in it overnight and the rust was from those items not the sink. A quick scrub
of baking soda or salt took it right off. Your product is only as good as the care you give it.

Although stainless steel is much more resistant to corrosion than ordinary carbon or alloy steels, in some circumstances it can corrode. It is 'stain-less' not 'stain-impossible'.
Stains are most often caused by various minerals contained in your water supply. These mineral deposits settle in the surface of the stainless steel, causing either a rainbow effect, brown, white or gray film on the surface of your sink. Similarly, rust spots may develop in portions of your sink even if metallic objects are not regularly left in the sink. Rust, contrary to popular belief, is not an inherent trait of the stainless steel sink. Rust is caused by a build-up of iron particles from steel wool pads, pots, utensils, water and other sources, which accumulate in the surface and create rust spots. To eliminate both stains and rust spots, use a non-abrasive or mild-abrasive cleaner as indicated in the use and care guide. When applying force or using any abrasive cleaner, always follow the direction of the grain on the surface. Any scrubbing opposite of or against the grain will appear as scratches on the surface of the sink. When finished, rinse thoroughly with warm water and dry with a towel using a dabbing motion. Always drying your sink after each use will prevent this from occurring.

I have had my sink for over two years now and have no rust showing because I have not put tin cans onto the sink surface and left them to rust. The rust reported in the sink was a mistake made by that reviewer.

I need to replace the nozzle. It is clogged and only a trickle of water flows through. I've tried a vinegar soak, but that didn't help much.

Soak the items in the chemical for an hour or so then rinse clean.
I also use the chemical for mild RUST spots/ stains, it works very well and I also use the chemical on my aquarium glass where water splashes/ over spray, from the filter pump, it is the only easy to use product I've discovered that will remove that lime or calcium spots off glass.
Dampen a folded up paper towel with CLR and wipe onto the surface or pour it into a glass or ceramic jar, cup or whatever that's non-porous and put small items in to soak, then rinse all surfaces and items with water and you should be pleased with the results.
* CLR (Calcium - Lime - Rust remover) is available at most all major stores and hardware retailer's
be sure to follow the directions/ instructions listed on the back label for safe use of CLR

Try messing with the rocker switch that changes from stream to spray first. Mine got stuck between the two positions once and was acting like it was clogged as well.

Sounds like you have a hard water chemical buildup. Buy a product like Limosol by The Works. Spray the head and either brush it or use paper clip to clean each hole in the spray. I have to clean mine and it's over two years old now and the spray is fine after cleaning.

This happened to us after a few months of use. We just got a different faucet and installed it. The sink is great but the faucet sucks. We just put in this same sink in to our rental unit also and my husband just bought a different faucet right away and didn't even bother to install the one that came with it.

I was able to take the little set screw loose on the back of the bottom of the faucet, and between squirting oil in there, and using a screwdriver to give me a little clearance between sections, I was able to free mine up a bit. It moves easy to the right, but you have to grab the faucet close to the base with both hands to get it to turn left. I really doubt it's calcium causing the issue. I believe it is a manufacturing defect- I don't have hard water and have the same issue. Other reviews about this faucet were either placed right after install, or they are having the same problem as us. I'm going to keep looking, and if I find any more info, I will update my review..... If you're replacing another sink that had TWO drains, this sink has only ONE, so the "T" fitting/ connector on the primary drain will now replaced with one straight through pipe. Very simple process.
Good news is you will have two inches depth more than a standard six inch sink. It may not sound like much but once installed, it makes a world of difference because a standard 6 inch sink is basically 1800 cubic inches and this one is an approximate 2400 cubic inches.

Yes, I installed a garbage disposal and hooked up a dishwasher to mine. It works great. Occasionally I have to turn on the disposal to speed up draining the sink but that is the only drawback I have noticed in six months.

Answer:
Yes. I have this sink and regular-sized garbage disposal has plenty of space. If you have the 36-inch cabinet there will be plenty of space for this sink. The disposal will be off to left side so you have to consider your pipes. My drain line was more to the right so I had to get a longer pipe after the trap. Also consider where the power for the disposal comes from an make sure you cord is long enough.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Sink and Great value. We love this sink. It is an 18 gauge sink. That means it is heavy duty. The lower the number the thicker the metal. It comes with a decent kitchen faucet. I have installed this sink for two of my customers now and they both loved it, and I installed one in my own house. It is a one basin sink which is great for putting big pots and pans in. Traditionally a kitchen sink was two sinks. But with the modern day dishwasher there is no real need for a double sink. So this is a great option. The last customer I installed this for wanted a oil rubbed bronze faucet. The value of this sink is so good it was cheaper for us to buy this sink and buy a separate faucet. So I have an extra faucet for the next job. The pic i'v included is from my own house. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by This sink is beautiful! The sink is beautiful. The faucet arrived damaged and Home Depot has told me to contact the manufacturer for a replacement part ... any guesses how that went? But the sink is what we wanted and I can get another faucet ... just disappointed that Home Depot wouldn't trade the part or give a credit towards another faucet. September 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent item The installation went very well and my wife is thrilled with this sink and faucet combination. September 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best purchase ever! The fact that this sink comes with an excellent faucet, soap dispenser and additional accessories and is only priced at $199.99 the value of this purchase is excellent. And the way the sink is configured, you are getting more sink space too! One of the best purchases I have ever made! August 30, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect sink Recently I remodeled my kitchen and decided to buy this sink. It was the best decision ever! Although it's one sink, works like two because of the different areas it has. September 11, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Rust bucket Brought this sink in June , three days after purchase I notice rust just below the soap despenser. Exchange for the same thinking there was a flaw in the first purchase , big mistake the second sink start rusting at the same spot. Left a knife overnight and Iit was rusted on the bottom . The first time the manager was very helpful . About to take back the second sink, am still in my 90 days I want my money back .just learn it's a home depot product will never buy anything that has their stamp on it anymore. August 9, 2016
