What is the front to back length of the sink?

The specifications say that the cutout is 7.06 inches from front to back but the inside is 10.5 inches. That doesn't make sense. What is the actual front to back measurement from the front to the back of the sink?

I am wondering if this sink will work if my current sinks measure 19" side to side x 16" back to front?
Asked by: lauren
Do you have a drop in sink that will fit vanity top that is 30" left to right and 15" front to back.? Specifically I need sink to be LESS than 30" left to right and preferably LESS than 18" so I will have counter space on both sides of sink. And preferably if possible, LESS than 15" front to back. Because my total work area is exactly 30" x 15 1/2". Please help. There must be a drop in that I can afford. Please reply soon as possible. Thank you. I anxiously await your good news answer.

Aragon Self-Rimming Drop-In Bathroom Sink in White is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 26.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not sit flush (quaily control problem) A> First one was purchased & returned, I presume this is another case of poor quality control. It should be noted this was made in China. This one was factory sealed. B> Upon returning defective unit and advising of the problem, I noticed the clerk told helper to return to stock. C> While picking out a replacement I noticed that 3 of the 4 in stock appeared to have been opened and resealed and presume Home Depot is not weeding out bad ones (Refer to B) D> Got home with 2nd one and it too is not flush. It is better that the first and will be returned...!!! E> Time to find different make.....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cheap and Works as Advertised I installed this sink in my master bath yesterday as a replacement for a 35 year old sink that had begun to corrode to the point that it was causing a slow drain. Prior to installation I gave it a careful "once over" and am proud to report that I found no flaws with its design or build. As for the smell reported by another reviewer, I would have to second the advice about reducing the amount of putty used under the drain collar as it could impede drainage and cause the problem described. Overall, I feel as though this was money well spent and have no regrets about the purchase. For those on the fence, just buy it... but make sure you install it correctly!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap Finish Installed this sink no less than a week and a half ago. Already have two scratches in the finish that won't come out. I'm in the process of remodeling another bathroom, but when I get time this is getting yanked and going back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy with this replacement I purchased three of these sinks to replace 25 year old contractor grade lavatories in my home. I installed the first one last night and it went in easily. It took less than an hour and a half to do the removal of the old unit, intstall of the new faucet on the sink and put the sink in place. After letting the adhesive caulk cure over night it looks great this morning. I wish I had read reviews prior to installing because I put a pretty hearty ring of puddy around the drain collar. May pull this one tonight and remove some of it. As for the overall appearance of the sink and ease of install, for an inexpensive replacement I could not be happier. I will be installing the other two this weekend with minimal puddy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good buy Pleasantly surprised - the finished product was smooth and clean. Ended up installing three of them, however one was broken in the box and had to be exchanged. The packing material in the corners of the box are not tall enough forcing the weight of other sinks on the pallet to rest on the bottom drain area of the sink. (Sink is shipped inverted in box). They need to invent a center support like one used in a pizza box to prevent breakage...Installed all three with HD4453-LED faucets. The LED faucets are very cool, especially at night for people like me who do not turn a light on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice looks & great value! I purchased this sink as a replacement for an original 12 yr. old "builder grade" porcelain-over-steel sink that had started to rust, after the XGF dropped a perfume bottle and chipped the finish a while back. Overall, very pleased with both the look and very solid feel of this ceramic sink. Noticeably more quiet when you run the water and looks nicer than the originals. (Also, no chance of rusting, even if the sink gets a minor chip.) Install was real straight-forward as well. No hold-down brackets on this model; so I used an adhesive caulk to set the sink into the vanity opening. Just be sure and install your faucet & drain first on the sink beofre dropping it into the opening - its a lot easier on your back and you'll get done a lot faster. Then do a trial fit to align the H/C supply lines and drain tube. ( I replaced my old sink's drain tube and it looks gorgeous with the new, shiny sink.) Once you're sure it'll line-up OK, then apply a thin bead of the adhesive caulk to the outside edge of the vanity sink opening. Drop your sink in and connect supply lines and drain. This normally should help "seat" the sink fairly close to being evenly flush with the vanity top. If not, just adjust the drain/supply line tubes a bit. When it looks flush, apply another fine bead of the adhesive caulk to the outer edge of the sink/vanity joint. Smooth the joint and wipe off any excess caulk using a damp sponge. I also read a review about potential odors coming form the drain overflow of this sink. ( I think the guy said it was from his son's toothpaste spit?) I don't know how this could be possible, as the both the sink has a very normal looking drain overflow path and all new sink tubes have openings for this; so the sink contents should easily drain down into the trap and never back-up or build-up. So far, mine has been perfect; toothpaste, soap rinse and all. I think this is a real nice-looking sink at a reasonable price, that most DIYers could easily do themselves. Love it! Enjoy life!!
