I have developed spots of rust around the base of the deck plate and faucet, it shouldn't do this right?

We installed two in our bathroom and this has only been a problem on one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from bathroom sink facet I had puchased and installed this model facet about a year ago. Was very satisfied with it. I needed to rplace one in a second basthroom. I ordered one on line and it arrived in about three days which was quick. The aerator in this one was not removable, so I reordered a second one and returned the first one to my local HD store. I installed this one with no problem.and happy to say it is working very well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pretty Fauce- Stupid drain The faucet has a great look. but the drain will not stay open. The only way to raise or lower the drain is to reach into the sink and pull it up or push it down, as there is no drain pulling mechanism. Unfortunately it will not stay up to allow the sink to empty. Poorly thought out design. Unfortunately the sink is installed by the time this flaw is discovered. I just removed the drain stopper so the sink can now drain. Not an ideal situation, but I don't want to uninstall and then re-install another sink. Boooo!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice faucet but problematic drain Faucet looks nice and works fine but the flange on the drain assembly is very thick plastic so it won't sit flush in the basin. Thus, a fair amount of water will always be left behind in the sink after use. Will have to buy a new drain assembly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice looking faucet The faucet itself is fine, what I'm not really fond of is the drain. It doesn't have the standard pull on the faucet, it's more of a spring loaded s drain that you just push down on to lock closed and again to release. For this there is a large gasket around the opening which prevents all the water from completely draining out of your sink. Now my sink gets used pretty regularly, so the water doesn't have a chance to get yucky, but I'm still not sure how I feel about it always being puddled there. But overall I am happy with the faucet functioning.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from LED Faucet I love this faucet. We are in the middle of a home renovation and needed an inexpensive faucet for a sink that will eventually be replaced. The price is just right for what we needed and fun everyone loves to go in the bathroom to turn the water on and off. I love that the light does not use batteries. The only thing that I would like is the aerator to be adjustable so you can get harder pressure when you need it. If it did that I would make this my permanent faucet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice Faucet but Cheap umbrella drain The faucet itself seems well made and it was easy to install but my issue is with the umbrella style drain that it came with. It pulls up and pushes down but there is no clicking or locking mechanism and it constanly falls down stopping the water from draining out of the sink. Its a poorly designed cheap part and they are currently sending me a replacement for which I hope will be better so stay tuned. I may have to look for a faucet which has the more familiar drain which has a lever built into the faucet which keeps the drain in the up or down position
