Is the drain ring included?

Hello Does this come with the drain ring?
Asked by: antsmrchn19
Yes it's included, called flange. It's polished brass as the drain stopper is too. Very nice.

The plastic lock nuts that hold the faucet in place fell apart and I need 2 new ones. What size are they ?

Asked by: Anonymous
They are pipe thread. Pretty universal with other faucets just ask at the store. They broke because you over tightened them. Use plumbers putty around the base underneath instead of silicone. While tightening when the putty squeezes out it's done. The putty will keep the faucet from moving around and seal it.

can I go from a single handle to a double handle

Asked by: bear
As Partshelpers said, if you have 4 holes covered by a plate with the single setup, its as easy as swapping them out. However, if you only have one hole, you could drill the extra two depending on the material. If it's an acrylic solid surface or cultured marble, all you need is a 1-3/8 coring bit, either for a grinder or for your screw gun. If it's stone, I wouldn't recommend drilling it yourself unless you're experienced with that sort of thing, and you'll need a bit especially designed for stone. You could also call a local countertop comoany and see if they'll do a service call to drill out the extra holes.

Builders 4 in. Centerset 2-Handle Low-Arc Bathroom Faucet in Brushed Nickel is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 110.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent unit, decent price I have always been miffed by bathroom faucets that are so small that the water comes out an inch or less from the back wall of the sink. That makes rinsing your toothbrush or your razor difficult because it's likely that it will contact the back wall of your sink. I don't know about you, but I don't want my toothbrush near my mouth after that. Even a "clean" sink still has thousands of germs and with some of the "superbugs" out there, any chance of infecting myself or my family with a simple act of oral hygiene is unacceptable. This faucet solves that problem. The water exits the faucet closer to the center of the sink making it easier to rinse your toothbrush, razor or your hands without interference from the sink bowl. Although it's never easy to install a bathroom sink faucet properly, this unit is certainly no more difficult than any other. A new sink drain is also included in the kit. As long as you don't over-torque any of the fasteners, installation should be no problem. As a maintenance man, I am familiar with Glacier Bay products, and I have noticed that over the years their product's quality has been steadily improving. While this faucet is lightweight and may appear to be flimsy, it is certainly durable enough for its purpose. I am especially fond of the plastic parts that do not corrode and effectively extend the functional lifespan of this unit. As long as it is not abused, this faucet should outlast most others. Apart from its stylish appearance, its function is fluid and effortless. You don't need a kung-fu grip to turn the water on or off, just a simple push or pull from a single finger. Overall, I am very pleased with this faucet. It has the profile I wanted, the ease of operation I demand and the ever-increasing quality of Glacier Bay that I have come to expect. In a world where our dollars don't stretch as far as we'd like, it's good to know that there are still products like this that we can buy without regret. I can be very demanding with my home-improvement materials and fixtures, and if I'm happy with this, I know you will be.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Customer Services - Model F40C4201CP First off this unit is very similar to the unit I have in a house I just bought. The model was unknown to me and there were broken pieces in two of the four faucets in my house. Kids probably cranked the handle too much. Regardless. I called customer service for Glacier Bay and they had me send pictures of the broken parts with pictures of the faucet. The faucets were installed in 2005. They researched the unit and sent me parts to repair my faucets FREE. Now that is something I can deal with. I have seen complaints of the finish on units. My four units are not perfect but are in great shape for being 9 years old. The two in the master bathroom are almost like new the one from the kids bathroom have pits but nothing outrageous. My hats off to Home Depot and this project and their customer service. Ron - Massachusetts.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice look, but quality control in doubt I bought two of these to replace in a double sink bath. The first one went in perfect, but after getting everything installed on the second one and flushing our the lines, I found that the body was leaking pretty badly. Must have been cracked or had a bad seal. Had to rip it out and take it back for exchange. Quality control at the factory should have caught the problem...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Looks great at first, but low quality Bought brushed nickel. Looked great at first, but handle unit started corroding at all joints and seams after a few months and the drain assembly rusted and looks terrible. I'm shopping for a different brand today that will guarantee no corrosion or rust. Installation was fairly simple.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Each Unit Owned drips, breaks, leaks (1st Day-3mo) Even though this is an excellent price and seemingly great quality, there are hidden defects which gradually worsen. Our second, most recent faucet drips (when completely off/not running water) & leaks ...(when cold water is in use, even low pressure). Therefore, our experience with this model (owning 2 Faucets): One Handle (with one on Hot, and the other fixture on Cold handle) lifts up, out of place. Hence, problem causes the area of leakage under the handle, and much Mineral Build-Up. You literally must wipe your faucet and sink down after each hand washing. *Please note, we do not have high pressure flow, with both HOT/COLD blasting. We always were loyal consumers to this Manufacturer yet in the past 3 years or so, they make faucets to simply be disposable, and it's unfortunate that's not even 1 year usage are you able to gain with this purchased/installed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The product works great and looks awesome! I found the product to be extremely cost efficient for a big family with a tight budget. In addition I feel like the style of the product gives a higher end feel for only a fraction of the price of other faucets on the market. I feel as if I entirely upgraded my vanity by changing to this product. The knobs are very comfortable to adjust and to turn off and on. I am actually surprised at the quality and durability. Smart move, making affordable high end looking products. This will keep you in business for a long time to come!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This faucet was a wonderful and welcome addition to our bathroom. We are in the process of giving our bathroom a needed update, as well as make minor plumbing repairs (leaks, low water pressure). The Glacier Bay faucet became part of the project, as we didn't see the logic in continuing with our old faucet which wasn't functioning properly, anyway. It gave our bathroom a brand new look, which inspired us to install a new vanity and, very soon, the matching medicine cabinet. We love it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent faucet. Great Support We've had this faucet installed for about 1.5 years. The cold handle recently was loose and when took it apart, I noticed the plastic support had cracked. I think we may have just been pushing it too hard. Either way, I called their support and they immediately sent us replacement parts under warranty. Amazing to see good customer service still intact.
