Would there be enough space to open the door if the vanity is placed in the corner? If not, what is your recommendation to make it work? I like the vanity a lot, but need to put it in the corner.

Answer:
Thank you for your inquiry. Installing a 3 inch filler between the wall and the vanity frame will allow the door to fully open 110 degrees as designed. The minimum gap needed for the door to open without rubbing on the wall is ½ inch. The door will open to 90 degrees allowing full access to the cabinet interior however it will hit the wall each time the door is opened.

Answer:
Thank you for your inquiry.
The Casual 30 in. W x 21 in. D x 33-1/2 in. H Vanity Cabinet Only in Java can be mounted to the wall. However, please consider a vanity top without a lip or excess material that would prohibit wall installation.

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 17 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Reasonable Quality for the Price This was a replacement for a 30 year 'original equipment' vanity in the master bathroom. I was looking for a vanity that was 30"Wx21"D and most 30"W vanities were only 19"D for small bathrooms. I also didn't want a vanity top included since I had a particular top in mind. This was an ideal match to my requirements plus the added bonus of being 3.5" taller than the old vanity. In this price range, you are not going to find plywood boxes and fine furniture construction. The frame is particle board which is to be expected. It is solid enough and it is in a corner position anchored to the back wall. The finish is attractive and compliments the paint color I've used quite well. The styling is modern without being severely contemporary. It is wonderful upgrade and a vanity I can recommend for an average home. July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quality and Value It came mostly assembled, just needed to add the handles. Would definitely get this again. Didn't like the pick up in store option, was more difficult than shipping it, but shipping to store was free. March 3, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent value for the price. I wanted to make a free-standing cabinet that would store heavy items (water), small items (batteries, power cords), and serve as a "charging station" for electronics. Cabinet construction was solid & precise and required minimal "re-fitting" for adding pull-out shelving & tip-out drawer (not included). Because the door opening is not divided by a vertical stile, the cabinet offers many functionality options. Overall appearance and quality : price = good value. May 6, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by carpenter had to rebuild before installing Cabinet was installed with minimal glue and staples, had to rebuild to install. March 29, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Better quality than the "weekend" specials This cabinet is a much better quality than the weekend bathroom specials. It doesn't come with a vanity top, but that is a good thing. The combo vanities with tops are just too cheap. This is a good in the middle quality cabinet. Particle board with veneer, but the front doors and frame are wood and feel solid. It comes with pulls which feel fine, but you will have to drill your own holes. This give you the opportunity to use different hardware or install them vertically vs. horizontally. The cabinet is nice and deep so you have a lot of storage. February 9, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice cabinet Easy to install. Very solid. Well boxed. Quite pleased March 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product! We purchased a $400 vanity from a different store. We got it home took it out of the box and found the frame was cracked. The vanity wouldn't even stand on its own. We went to Home Depot and started looking again. I saw this vanity on display and was a little hesitant because of the price. However, the display model was very nice and seemed much sturdier than the $400 vanity. We bought one, and I am so glad we did. It's sturdy, well made, and looks fantastic in our bathroom. It looks much more high end than more expensive products. Only thing I can gripe about is the holes for the hardware are not pre-drilled, which isn't such a bad thing. Well worth the $$$! Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible quality for the price! For $249 I expected a lot more build quality from this. Sides and back are just glued particle board. Corners reinforced with flimsy plastic gussets stapled in place. Glue was sloppy and completely visible on outside of cabinet. Unit came out of box already damaged on the back left corner. Box was in pristine condition so it likely was packaged already damaged. Returned and picked up a different unit from Cabinets to Go. February 23, 2015
