Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Gnowner Better quality than the "weekend" specials
This cabinet is a much better quality than the weekend bathroom specials. It doesn't come with a vanity top, but that is a good thing. The combo vanities with tops are just too cheap. This is a good in the middle quality cabinet. Particle board with veneer, but the front doors and frame are wood and feel solid. It comes with pulls which feel fine, but you will have to drill your own holes. This give you the opportunity to use different hardware or install them vertically vs. horizontally. The cabinet is nice and deep so you have a lot of storage.

We purchased a $400 vanity from a different store. We got it home took it out of the box and found the frame was cracked. The vanity wouldn't even stand on its own. We went to Home Depot and started looking again. I saw this vanity on display and was a little hesitant because of the price. However, the display model was very nice and seemed much sturdier than the $400 vanity. We bought one, and I am so glad we did. It's sturdy, well made, and looks fantastic in our bathroom. It looks much more high end than more expensive products. Only thing I can gripe about is the holes for the hardware are not pre-drilled, which isn't such a bad thing. Well worth the $$$!

For $249 I expected a lot more build quality from this. Sides and back are just glued particle board. Corners reinforced with flimsy plastic gussets stapled in place. Glue was sloppy and completely visible on outside of cabinet. Unit came out of box already damaged on the back left corner. Box was in pristine condition so it likely was packaged already damaged. Returned and picked up a different unit from Cabinets to Go.

I guess the only quality control is performed by the guy who assemled this cabinet. I did spend a good amount of time to bring this up to par. Corner staples were missing, nails protruding in several places and stray glue. The sides and back are press-board, so the bottom edges are in contact with the floor. This will soak up water like a sponge. I coated the lower edges with shellac and allowed it to soak in. I added nylon furniture buttons to the bottom edge (added about 5/32 to the height) to keep it off the floor.

Don't expect any real value for the cost. Cheaply made with flimsy plastic corner braces stapled to low qualty particle board sides and a 3" rear top brace for securing the cabinet to a wall. Particle board sides are covered with vinyl. The solid wood facing/doors have a quick spray stain that is not uniform. I placed the vanity in a corner so the exess glue and protruding stapes on one side are not visible. The solid wood face frame is decent and supports the 2 doors well with adjusting door hinges. This vanity is fair for a low budget remodel but do check for stain, glue, and staple protrusions before installing.
I would recommend sealing the particleboard bottom on any vanity to minimize any wood swelling and vinyl peeling in the event of any water on the floor.

I like it! It looks better than in the store. It is more of contemporary design but in the same time it will go with any style.
