Answer:
It is a drop in sink, so the caulk under the rim holds it in. Also, once you install the faucet and drain it's not going anywhere. I installed it myself along with the plumbing....and I'm female.

Answer:
The new bowls do not come with hold downs. A good amount of silicone will do the job. Just make sure the area is clean and let it dry over night before finishing the installation.

Answer:
These are "drop-in" sinks, which assumes that the exposed outer lip of the sink (all around) will come to rest on a surface outside of the "drop-in" hole into which the sink will be placed, with silicone under and between this lip and the hard surface, with additional silicon then used to seal the outer lip exposed on top.

I have an existing stone counter top with a 16.5 inch hole. It would be very difficult for me to cut the hole bigger. In measuring this sink it appears that it may fit in a 16.5 inch hole. Will this sink fit in a 16.5 inch hole?

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 25 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Much better looking than the ones they replaced The builder installed the cheap steel sinks with the glued on plastic overflow in our town home when it was build 16 years ago. They started to pit and rust so I replaced them with these sinks. I never had much making a neat silicone seal/caulk so I used a thick bead of Loctite construction adhesive under the counter where the bottom of the sink and the edge of the hole meet. I ran my finger around the joint forcing some adhesive up under the sink rim. It was easy to wipe off a couple of places where it came out on the top of the vanity since it seems to be water based adhesive. Anyway, they look neat with no grout. July 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The product was easy to install and seems to be of good quality It took 20 minutes to install. The surface of the sink was easy to clean after the grout and sealant was dripped on to it. The plumbing connections were leak free and easy to fit to the drain system. April 1, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best sink ever!!! My husband and I recently added a bedroom and master bath on to our home in rural Idaho. We purchased two of these sinks as well as chrome faucets from Home Depot. Wow! I absolutely love these sinks. The faucet heads move sideways too if I'm watering a plant or want to wash my hair in the sink. The sinks are just the right size, deep enough, not to small or too big and stay so nice and shiny. I keep them clean by using a sponge, soap and water or a lemon liquid scrub that is not abrasive. My husband easily installed them. They look fantastic with the stone counter top. They are very solid sinks and look expensive. I've used them already six months with no problems. I'm adding some pictures so you can see how wonderful they are. I would absolutely recommend these sinks. In fact, my son is remodeling our 150 year old vacation home in Montana and we ordered the same sink for that bathroom! I'm very happy and excited about these sinks as you can see. January 17, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looks great, easy to install Installed in 20 minutes, looks great. I got the glacier bay faucet with it and for $70 it made a huge difference in the bathroom. August 10, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Sink is very nice - parts are plastic ... :-( The plumbing had to be adjusted as the drain wasn't in the same position as the previous sink's drain. Was a little difficult for me to line up and tighten the plumbing appropriately. June 16, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect Sink for the Price! Ordinarily would not have left a review about a sink, but as another reviewer was upset that this great sink got cracked because they dropped a heavy item in it, I felt obligated to say how very happy I am with it...looks great, great price! You won't regret this purchase. May 18, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Different I purchased two of these sinks online. According to the stock info there were several available. When I arrived to pick them up there were two different boxes. Apparently the in stock info was not correct. I was replacing the sinks in my master bath. Although they are similar they are not exact. The sinks are beautiful and no one has noticed the difference. But I'll eventually change the sinks to match. January 27, 2015
