Sink itself is nice but scratches very easily. Instructions for the most part are ok, except when it comes to assembling the strainer. It says to use a Phillips screwdriver but the locking nut (for strainer bodies) isn't made to accept a Phillips screwdriver. Had to use a quarter to tighten the nut, since I don't think they make a slotted screwdriver big enough. Lower strainer body is cheaply made...disconforms if tighten too much. It is questionable if I would ever buy again. Although I said yes to 'recommend' it is a 50-50 split. I will say HD is bending over backwards to satisfy my needs.
$230 for this sink??? May be worth in the $175-189 range.

I bought TWO of these sinks and and they are beautiful. Glad I did not listen to the bad reviews. ANY stainless sink will scratch if not treated properly. I put clear rubber mats in the bottom until I get my stainless steel grids for the bottoms which will be here in 2 days.
As far as people complaining about water spots...It's as simple as wiping them out with a paper towel. Saw complaints about puddling water that did not drain...its not the sinks, must be their crooked out of level cabinets. If you do have a puddle whats so hard about wiping them out?
I highly recommend these sinks to anyone looking for a single bowl. I have had nothing but compliments from friends and family.
Do not listen to the nay sayers. You care for this sink and it will be beautiful all the time. Just takes a little effort on the owners part. Buy it, you will be as happy as I am.

This sink fit my price range and wish list. At first I needed a top-mount and wanted a sink I could under-mount when we were ready to replace the countertops...this sink has that option. However, after living with it for several months, I plan to replace it when we get granite installed. There are things that I really like and things that I really don't.
The good: it's huge, deep and pretty (when dry). I do get a lot of compliments on it and I love that I can fit my big pots, pans, cookie sheets.
The bad: The sink bottom is very flat, so water doesn't have a good flow pattern to the drain. You have to push it with a sponge or something or it'll puddle on the bottom. Not only do you end up pushing water, you push food particles too, because the drain is flush with the sink which creates a lip that catches food and keeps it from going down the drain with the water spray. If there are dishes in the sink when you rinse something off, the food gets caught around the dishes. It's a little flimsy and the bottom is already very scratched up. I was worried that the sharp corners would be hard to clean and I've found that they are. The most annoying thing though, is it shows water spots terribly. I use my sink all day long, so it's never dry for more than a few minutes and I'm not going to wipe it dry each time I use it, so it always looks spotted which keeps it looking dirty.
What I'll look for in my next sink: Same size, single basin, no satin finish, slightly rounded corners,16 gauge instead of 18, a grate for the bottom and a recessed drain.

Sink exceeded expectations in quality, appearance and ease of installation. Competitive with much pricier brands.

This sink was installed in a stainless steel work table for a craft brewery and looks wonderful! The owner is delighted with the size and depth. The cost kept the project within budget and it won't be the last time I use this sink!

This sink is huge and beautiful however, it shows water spots like crazy! You can't ever let water dry in it without wiping it out or it looks terrible. I expected to have to wipe it down every now and again, but not every time! I actually avoid using it because it is so much work! I am not sure what kind of steel it is, but even the cheap sinks at work look better than this. I regret this purchase and am really disappointed because it is so beautiful!

After Reading the reviews I think this is a good value. Comes with hardware to install the sink either above or below a counter top.
I'm using the sink in a factory setting. I would rather the sink have a better design for the fasteners that hold the sink in place but overall a good purchase.

I read reviews about this sink stating it scratched easily and didn't drain well. I have to say I haven't experienced this at all. The sink is stainless steel so some scratching is expected. The sink drains perfectly.
It does take a little getting use to - it is huge and sort of flat but I have had no issues and I LOVE IT! My favorites sink!
