Does this faucet have a drain lever on the back of the faucet spout? or Do I need to order a separate one for the sink drain

Measurement of the spigot and handles at the bottom where they meet the sink?

We have marks on our sink from our old set so need to cover that up. Our old set was 3" diameter at the bottom of the faucet. I did not see this mentioned in the details. Please provide. Thanks
Asked by: JS
The diameter at the bottom is 2.25''.

Does this faucet come with the valve or is it an extra to buy?

Asked by: kn3757
The faucet comes with all valves. You just have to connect to the hot and cold shutoff valves at the wall. You may need to buy new flex hoses from the shutoff valves to the faucet valves.

Hot water handle is starting to drip after use underneath sink where metal water line leaves to feed spicket.

Is this something covered under the limited warranty? I installed the faucet in January of 2013. I have 2 of these in the same vanity and the other one is fine. Please advise
Asked by: Zach
Normally this means the stem is wearing out. They are extremely easy to replace. You have to figure out if it is the hot side or the cold side (but shutting off the supply valves for each side) since the hot side stem and cold side stem are different replacement parts. Hot side - Cold side -

Edgewood 8 in. Widespread 2-Handle Bathroom Faucet in Chrome is rated 3.1 out of 5 by 34.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Unsatisfactory product The product is functionally sound. However, from day one of its use, it became water spotted and these spots will not come off.

The quick connect hose that runs in a 'Y' between the tap and handles does connect to the handles but will not stay attached to the tap's receiving tube. Multiple people have read the instructions and attempted to attach it, and it'll appear to be in place but the slightest tug pulls it right back off, and turning on the water causes significant water leakage. We paid $100 for this faucet because it is the only style that works with the Home Depot vanity we purchased (due to the wide spacing of the vanity's facet holes) and it's useless. Beautiful, but useless.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Something I learned This is an excellent product. If anything, the lever to open sink drain could be more forward. I had been under the impression that the lever was used to both open and close the drain. Wrong. Just push lever (back of faucet) down to open drain. To close an open drain push down on drain plug (don't try to pull up the lever).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 2 Defective faucets in a row We bought one of these and had to return the first due to a faulty handle. Then the replacement one had a hairline fracture on the spout that was not discovered until after it was installed and the water was turned on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality for the price! Easy to handle the order online and store pick up. The price was right and they look very stylish

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Shoddy design and construction The fittings were not good quality. The worst part was that the drain stopper did not fit into the faucet and was too short for my pedestal sink. I had to scrap the whole drain and put in a new one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Purchased this faucet for our lake cabin and it looked great and functioned very well for the first two months. Then the hot water stem started making a groaning noise and was getting harder to turn on and off. I thought maybe it was a bad cartridge so I purchased a replacement at HD. After replacing the cartridge (which is pretty straight forward) it started leaking out of the top when in the on position. I removed and re-installed just to make sure nothing obvious was causing the problem. No matter what I do it still leaks to the point I will now have to replace the entire faucet. Not very happy that it has barely lasted 3-months with only weekend use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor design - stopper rod and connection hose interfere with each other the stopper rod interferes with the connection hose when you pull the rod up and down and will often get stuck. i struggled with this for almost an hour and gave up - realized from reviews that other people had the same problem. the design makes it nearly impossible to get the stopper to work properly. I will be returning both to the store!
