The Pegasus Estates Single-Handle Tub and Shower Faucet functions great and looks wonderful. Installing the Single Handle Tub was a bit of a challenge and labor intensive but well worth the effort. Keep in mind this item is purposed for new bathrooms and or remodels. If your looking for a quick face-lift of an existing bath - shower, this may not be the best choice.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by FcoAbu Beautiful Look!
This is a beautiful looking ensemble in a rich bronze color that really pops against a neutral tile color! The quality is good and and the faucet serves its purpose in looks and function. The rain head provides a nice soothing flow for a relaxing shower experience. I like the stop features, which I'd never seen before, that allow turning off water supply at the valve for maintenance.
Installation can be a bit tricky as it may involve more advanced plumbing skills (working with copper) to replace the valve. Nonetheless, a rather mainstream installation process.
Will use again in the near future!

Pretty finish but spout does not seal when using shower and finding replacement parts has been difficult. More engineering should have gone into building a quality product. Would not buy again. Too expensive for the problems we've had.

I think that this is a very nice looking fixture set because it has a warm bronze tone. It works well in my decor which is based on neutral tones with dark brown wood. The style is very rich looking. The valve was not difficult to install because it was being worked into a bathroom remodel. The walls were opened up so that there was plenty of room to work with attaching the copper pipes. In a new installation I didn't have to be concerned with the opening being wide enough. The brass valve measures 5" across and you need at least a 6" diameter opening in order to fit the plastic guard in the wall to get it flush with the finished wall. This could be a really tight fit with a tile-finished wall because there wouldn't be much room to access the copper pipes inside of the wall. Also, keep in mind that the diverter valve must be installed 8" away from the tub spout for it to fit together and operate properly. I would highly recommend this set for a new installation or a remodel project. It is a very nice fixture that has the function to adjust the temperature stop that you can set for safety and peace of mind.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by LosRubios Great product to update the bathtub and shower head
So this was the Thanksgiving weekend project to upgrade the bath and shower controls and faucet from and old 'pull style' plastic plunger with a chrome surround to this model. It's probably best to start from the top down, since installing the shower head was the easiest part and its a good morale booster! Be prepared for some plumbing work once you get to the mixer valve and take your time or call a plumber (or marry someone who's brother is like I did!). The only issue I encountered in the upgrade was that the bathtub plug lever on our older tub is separate to the water outlet, and the plug lever is integrated into the water outlet on this unit. Consequently, I had to keep the old chrome plug lever in our tub while I search out a bronze blanking plug that I can install when I delete the old plug lever. Other than that, the product looks great when installed and is much easier to use than the old school plunger unit it replaced. We have a pretty good water pressure to begin with, so the larger shower head wasn't too much of a problem. Unfortunately it also inspired my wife to buy a matching vanity light set that I get to install next weekend!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Smarteboy Good Product, Would be better for new construction
I received this product, because I was thinking of replacing the old contractor faucet set that came with my house. I was a little surprised at the amount of work it took, but it is a very nice unit after all that.
I found the first problem when I removed my old faucet. The hole in the wall was not even large enough to get the new manifold in, let alone take the old one out. After some thought (breaking stuff) I was able to get everything in where it needed to be. I won't go into the gory details, as I am sure anyone would know what I mean.
The plumbing connections were pretty easy. The manifold has female threaded ends on all four sides. I have PEX tubing to my plumbing fixtures, so this just meant that I had to screw the new ends in (using thread tape) and then crimping the PEX on the end. That part was easy, but not the easiest.
Putting the trim pieces and faucet handle on were the easiest. They went right on without a fight. It almost seemed like they were meant to be together. The handle is different than most other handles I have seen on these setups. The screw that holds the handle in actually attaches through the front of the handle, not a little pin that holds it in place.
I've got to say, the product looks fantastic. I have cultured marble surrounds on my tub, and they are an off-white/ivory color. This faucet looks great against that. It made my tub look a little more high end.
I was a little unsure that the showerhead would have enough water pressure to feel good, but it does a fine job. It is actually a very large showerhead, and the water just falls on you. Feels pretty good. There is good adjustability on the head to give it good coverage in a standard shower.
All in all, I say this is a good product. I think it would be 10 times easier to install with a full new install, such as new tile, or a new backing, where the plumbing connections and manifold placement could be done prior to closing up the workspace, but it was doable nonetheless.
