We bought these modern, elegant and sturdy utility bathroom items (towel, bath rods and toilet paper holders) for both bathrooms to maintain uniformity. We cut the 18 inch rods to 13 inches to make them shorter and use as hand towel holders as we dislike round hand towel holders. We left the 24 inch rods as purchased.
This was a great purchase and we're proud of the results.

These towel bars look great. They came with a template to install which helped a lot.

Looks good, but who the heck decided that using an Allen wrench was easier than a small screwdriver on the set screw? On older towel bars I could tighten or loosen the set screw without looking by using a small flathead screwdriver. On all of the Glacier Bay Innberg products that I installed, I had to use the Allen wrench that came with it. What a pain in the neck, (literally!) Using the template, I still had trouble getting the towel bar to set on the mounting bracket correctly. Finally I glued several all of them on.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Captainsursea From 18 to a 13 inch Hand Towel Bar
My wife and I dislike round hand towel holders so much so that we bought two Innburg 18 inch towel bars and cut them to 13 inches. We chose the Innburg rod because it's tasteful finish, modern and elegant design.
The rod itself is thick and well made so we caution that if you want to cut yours to a smaller size, use a quality metal cutoff blade. Once you cut the end off, carefully hand sand it to take off any burr. After that push the end cap off the excess end and fit it to your new sized rod. The rod holders can be placed at whatever distance you please and that looks symmetrical.
Now we have a great set of Innburg hand towel and bath towel bars that look elegant and compliment each other.

Looks fine and installed decently. They recently changed the installation hardware so now it is two screws rather than one. I preferred the old style as I could use wingit drywall anchor for super secure mounting. The styling is nice and the rest of the family likes it fine. If I had it to do over I might get the double bar so I can easily hang two towels at the same time.
