Why is the pressure so low on the hot water side?

My hot water has minimal pressure, so low sprayer wont work. Any help? The water is on all the way and there are no kinks in the hose. Any suggestions?
Asked by: jojo
Double check the water hose. We had this issue too and found out that some pc. of plastic had lodged inside the hose!! It had to have been there from the factory, but once we got that out, everything worked perfect!

Customer Reviews

Keelia Single-Handle Pull-Out Sprayer Kitchen Faucet in Brushed Nickel is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 136.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Avoid I purchased this faucet, installed it, and then removed and returned it. The spray/stream selection did not remain selected to spray when the faucet was turned off. The spray was virtually uncontrollable at low flow rates and would spontaneous jump back to stream. When the flow rate was increased to keep spray mode selected, the spray was too strong and made a mess. I would avoid this faucet even if it were $5.99. This experience led me to ask at Home Depot customer service if there were a way to try a faucet's performance before purchasing and alas, there is not. I am writing this review and description of my assessment to help others before they choose this device. Beware!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poorly made It was easy to install and we liked it at first. But the button on top quickly stopped working correctly, the faucet frequently comes loose from it's base and now the hose is leaking and causing leaks under our sink. I would not buy this again. Also our water pressure in that sink has been poor since we installed it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Looks good. Performs poorly. Leaked within 2 years from faucet and connection under sink. Replace... Looks good. Performs poorly. Leaked within 2 years from faucet and connection under sink. Replaced hose, connector and cartridge. Solved leak from faucet but still leaked under sink. First experience with Glacier Bay. I will be switching back to the known brands, Delta, Kohler and Moen. Pay more...get more.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Faucet EVER!!! I bought this product about an year and a half ago. It is already leaking from the sprayer hose. I will not buy again or recomend that anyone purchase this product. Home Depot should not sell such cheaply made products.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Snapped in half We bought our home and it had already had this faucet installed. The faucet itself was hard to turn left or right, so we had to be careful with that. Then, last night, the whole thing snapped apart when I tried to turn it to the right. The hose broke from the sprayer. It cannot be fixed. The Glacier Bay faucet in my bathroom also snapped loose from the counter due to broken connectors underneath. I also see where the previous owners just taped down the stopper handle instead of actually fixing it. So, honestly, I won't be buying any Glacier Bay products when I redo these faucets and I won't be buying them when or if I renovate the kitchen or baths. Also, forgot to add. The sprayer pressure is too strong. It sprays all over the place when trying to wash dishes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New experience Faucet was packaged in original box with two plastic bands on each side. Being marked down on clearance to $49.99, we thought what a great price. Assembly was quite easy except when attaching the faucet hose to the pull out spray. The coupler was missing. I called the Home Depot in Parma Ohio and explained the problem. We were shocked when the clerk only refunded $29.99 being our slip did not accompany the trip. I would advise to be cautious when purchasing close out material unless u tape the receipt to the box.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap! Not a good investment I know it's hard to tell from mixed reviews on products, but this faucet really is a waste of your money. As others have said, at first the product worked fine (although we always had problems with the water pressure being too high when the sprayer button was pushed) but a year-and-a-half after purchase a component inside the unit broke and started leaking everywhere. Not user error, but manufacturer error. No other choice but to replace it. Waste of almost $100! Avoid avoid avoid.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This Product is Highly-Not-Recommended! This faucet was installed by the previous homeowner prior to moving into our current home. Five months after daily use, it began leaking from the hoses leading directly into the faucet. My plumber ended up replacing the old faucet with the exact same one (Glacier Bay Keelia single-handle faucet with sprayer) thinking that this would remedy the problem. In the same fashion, after five months of using this faucet daily, it's beginning to leaking from the same hoses....AGAIN! While the faucet has an attractive nickel finish, sleek look, and simplistic sprayer....the hoses are of questionable quality that needs to be corrected (possibly due to some kind of defect) for continued long-term usage. Ironically, after my plumber installed this same faucet, I reviewed this product after the fact and was shocked to learn the many other problems from other reviewers! I didn't think this faucet would "give-out" as soon as it did!!!! I'm now scrambling to look for a similar faucet made by Moen and putting other home improvement projects on hold until repairs can be made to this faucet. Purchase and use the Glacier Bay Keelia single-handle faucet at your own risk!
