Customer Questions & Answers

How do you tighten the wiggly handle bases?

I have tried taking off the tab on top of the handles and tightening the screws that hold the handles down but the screws only keep turning, but do nothing to tighten the wiggly bell-shaped handles. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
Asked by: 266owner
Thank you for your question. The inverter that your screws tighten down on sound like they are stripping. Simply call the customer care center at 1-877-580-5682 and they would be happy to send out the parts you need under the warranty.

Do any of the stores near the zipcode 08550 have this in stock?

Asked by: Anonymous
Typically once an item goes out of stock, they are replenished within 2-3 weeks' time. If it is not back in stock by that time, you are welcome to reach out to our online team direct at 1-800-430-3376 as they can check their database for an ETA if it is available. However, each store has a special order bath catalog you can view there to see if there may be one offered via special order.

Why was this product (and others in this line) discontinued? Are they in the process of redesigning?

I've been reading the customer reviews on this, and other Lyndhurst line, product/s. The reviews of this line seem to be very mixed (bad reviews for the 3-piece detachable shower head, e.g. but the reviews for the 'widespread 2-handle, high arc faucet' are generally very high (except for the cheap drain and wiggly handles). Were some of the products from this line pulled for redesign, or why are they no longer available?
Asked by: Anonymous
Thank you for your question. The faucets were not discontinued for any type of redesign or because of any issues they might have been having. The company that makes this line is always trying to provide the customer with the latest styles and choices to choose from so as one style is being discontinued, they are being replaced with newer styles and finishes. If you are looking for models in the Lyndhurst line, we suggest that you visit your local Home Depot because in some cases even though the faucet is discontinued, you might be able to special order the item from another source that the Home Depot has access to.

Customer Reviews

Lyndhurst 8 in. Widespread 2-Handle High-Arc Bathroom Faucet in Heritage Bronze is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 41.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glacier Bay This faucet set is of spectacular workmanship and the brushed nickel finish is flawless ! This complimented the "antique" vanity perfectly on which it was installed. This is not just a simple design in cheap packaging. It comes boxed in a case with ALL accessories to install including the drain. Beautifully crafted I highly recommend this set for your renovation or new project. You will NOT be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful & Well-Priced Faucet I've done quite a bit of research for faucets for our recent bathroom remodel and this faucet was both beautiful and well-priced compared to similar styles. I was a bit worried at first because it's not sold in stores, but that worry was immediately dissipated when I received them. They are heavy and not made of cheap materials. The only downside is the drain area (where it connects to your water pipe) is made of plastic, not metal as in other faucets. But I am still very pleased with the quality and beauty of the faucet and would buy it all over again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Expensive cost, cheap feel, handles wiggle Purchased first unit and got it home and noticed the faucet handles had a lot of play in them - they wiggled. So I returned it to HD and checked other boxes and found one with handles that did not have play in them. Got it home, installed it and after about 1 weeks worth of light use the handles had play in them, both sides this time. I will be returning it to HD again and finding another brand/model.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Faucet This faucet appears to be very ornate but in our remodeled bathroom it was the perfect touch. It looks very modern and is very classy. The height of the faucet is great too and it was very easy to install.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lyndhurst 8 in. 2 handle Lavatory Faucet Love the style and faucet fits our decor wonderfully. It was very easy to install. It has only been installed a few days and we love it. It operates very smoothly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits the decor, half the price Saw a different brand in a similar Victorian style and loved it, but the price was about double the cost of this one. Actually ordered this in oil rubbed bronze, but when it arrived we thought the finish was too black (more of a gun-metal finish). Returned to store and got the Heritage Bronze, and it was perfect. Hard to tell from the picture, but it's a nice speckled brown. Install was easy, and it matches our Victorian vanity perfectly. Great look, easy install, awesome value.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful Faucet This is a visually appealing faucet and comes with a drain. The only issue my contractor has was that the drain leaked, so it had to be removed. Luckily the new vanity I purchased came with a drain, so we used that one. I can tell it is a water saver faucet because the water flow doesn't seem as pressurized as it did with my old faucet, so I'm hoping to save some on my water bill.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great.... for the most part. The Glacier Bay faucet was the perfect match for my bathroom remodeling project. It amazes me, however, where manufacturers choose to cut corners. The weak link in this set is the cheesy plastic bar used for the drain stopper assembly. It is basically useless. Otherwise the rest of the set works great.
