Yes, it's on the left side of the sink (instead of back center). Maybe this is so it's not so visible?

Answer:
Yes, there is a 1/2" hole in the front left corner of the sink. It's not the most attractive hole or the best location, but it's integrated into the plastic counter+sink piece.

Answer:
The vanity counter has 3 holes. You either need a 3 hole faucet or a single hole faucet with the cover plate.
I have the Pfister Venturi single-hole faucet, but it came with the cover plate. Most other single-hole faucets I looked at do not come with the cover plate.

The stone top is one piece, no seams at all. Even though the inside of the sink is plain white and the top of the surface is speckled, it's all one, seamless piece of material. You can barely tell, and it makes it a lot easier to clean! I attached a picture.

It has a high gloss finish, so it's easy to wipe down and clean. The white sink is also a plastic, and is seamlessly bonded to the counter--there is no edge or gap or seam--it's perfectly smooth where they are joined.
The instructions indicate you should only use gentle cleaners and no abrasives, as they will damage or scratch the plastic. Read Less

You can't go wrong with white, but maybe a tan would work too since the top surface has tan speckles.

Answer:
There is no backsplash on this vanity countertop. It seemed a bit unusual looking to me at first, but now that it's installed, it looks okay--a very minimalist clean look.
I'm considering putting a thin bead of clear latex caulk along the back edge of the sink along the wall to seal it.

The Metro 30-1/2 in Vanity in Java with Solid Surface Vanity Top in Sand does not have a matching backsplash at this time.
Home Depot has a large selection of tile available that you can select to best match the needs for your bathroom project needs.

I like the color and the vanity top looks great. The hardware is nice as well. Onto what wasn't. The finish was thin and easily scratched. I actually put a few coats of minwax clear coat on it to make it more durable and so it would look better. Additionally the drawers came apart easily as the dowels had no glue. I fixed that as with some gorilla glue. The holes for the handles were not drilled correctly, so had to fix that too. I could have returned it, but I didn't want to haul it back. With my improvements it is fine. Out of the box it was not. Maybe I got a bad unit and yours will be fine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Vanity We had to return twice . The first time the box was opened the entire top (including sink) was cracked. We brought back to the store and got another of the same model. We brought it home and the bottom of cabinet was missing. We had to go back a third time and we were given the bottom of first vanity and top of second cabinet purchased. To add insult to injury, we saw the same unit with a gray top on sale for $99.00. We paid $289

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Looking Vanity Metro 30-1/2 in. Vanity in Java with Solid Surface Vanity Top in Sand: This vanity is so pretty. Check out the pictures. Installation is super easy. It’s a complete unit so I just had to fasten it to the wall and ran the pipes in. Love the sink and counter top. It’s good looking and easy to clean. I love the drawers. It keeps the bathroom nice and neat. The dark wood is classy. Its not too heavy. I’m a small person and with one other person I moved it into place. Then I used some caulking around the splash board. I am very happy with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Vanity & Very Nice Sink Top My wife wanted a sink vanity to freshen up within the Master Bedroom. We located a Corner on the back side of the bathroom & ran the necessary plumbing & lines. Install was very fast & easy. The quality of this Vanity is quite good HOWEVER as seen in the pictures I received "My Unit" where either the wrong hardware was sent or a flat out mistake on drilling the holes for the hardware was done. No big deal, to fix I just went to Home Depot & picked up 2 Handles that were for the currently drilled holes. Other than that one hiccup the Vanity is nice & well put together & the drawers open & close softly & very smoothly. The finish on the veneer is very nice.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not worth it Not a product worth buying, bought it, took it home and the holes to the draws were drilled the wrong size apart from each other where the handles didn't fit. They couldn't even get the HOLES RIGHT!!!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bathroom Vanity – Dark wood color with Solid Surface 30-1/2 in. Vanity Top in Sand We did a bath room up grade and installed the 30 ½ dark wood color vanity, it has a nice appearance but the quality is somewhat not durable, mostly particle board than real wood. The face finish had a couple of wood knots or other imperfections right on the door fronts, somewhat rustic looking, the home owner didn’t mind. Like I said the cabinet looks very nice but they should add more real wood parts. Not the highest quality but for the price it’ll work. If you do decide to purchase one, inspect it before you head to the checkout line. P.S. It does NOT come with a back splash so you might have to purchase one or add your own Tile

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good to Fair product for the price Like one of the other customers, mine also had the face finish with a couple of wood knots or other imperfections right on the door fronts. I used this for a bathroom in a new pole barn, and it worked very well. If I was looking for something for a main bath in a home - I might think about upgrading to a real wood finish. However, the colors of the basin, top and vanity matched well with a stainless faucet, and installation was very easy

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to Install and Feels Nice and Sturdy This vanity was a great, quick, and easy way to update our very outdated bathroom. The vanity comes already assembled so the only installation steps involved are attaching the vanity top, installing the handles and knob, and cutting the back out to allow the plumbing in. Total install time, including plumbing in the faucet, took roughly 30 minutes. This vanity looks great, with a nice rich finish and a well-made vanity top. The top also provides quite a bit of counter space for its size. The only drawback I've seen so far is that the drawer hardware and the handles and knobs that are included feel a little on the cheap side. At this price point it's a very nice option though. The cabinet frame itself feels very sturdy and well-made. I'd definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a quick and inexpensive way to change the look of a bathroom.
