The silver. The button has a 1 water drop icon (left side) on it for a small flush. A 2 water drop icon (right side) for a full flush.

There's a very simple video on YouTube that shows the internal operation and which button does what. New flushers are all silver.

Answer:
Hello Jiheb,
Thank you for your inquiry. On the dual flush toilet (sku 215-583) the larger silver button is for solid flush while the smaller blue button is for liquid flush. The difference between the 2 buttons is the flush volume of 1.6 gallons vs. 1.1 gallons of water.

I recently purchased a Glacier Bay toilet (two actually) that was missing its flushing mechanism. I know it was supposed to be in the box because the other one i got had it.

Is this going to be in stock soon?

I have been told these will not appear in stock in any stores. My local store tried to order and has been repeatedly refused.

Replacements are all chrome with a single drop image on the low-flush and double drop on the full flush.

But it is better than the flyswatter handle I was using for the 6 months it took me to determine that I would not find a replacement in store. (Thanks to the Seguin guy who finally found the order number for me!!!)

I have two of these toilets purchased two years apart. The first one had the little blue and larger chrome buttons. But the second one has two equally sized (half circle) chrome buttons, each with rain-drop markings to indicated flush quantity. My questions are these:
1) If the product description says "Push button in chrome..." but the picture is of the blue and chrome, which setup are we actually getting?
2) If this is the blue and chrome item when will the all chrome buttons be available?

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Cheap enough A rather light weight all plastic item but the only replacement part available. Time will tell how well it holds up. June 7, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Purchase was good........quick............and product was definately worth the price. When I bought the original toilet from Home Depot the dual-flush push button had a light blue button for the flushing of just liquid and a chrome side for the flushing of a full bowl. Now the entire button is chrome. This confuses guests as to which button to push. This is no big deal but it would have been nice to still have the original button with the blue side. March 15, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent So far it has been an great item. I purchased two of them and the quality is great and easy to install. It is an improvement over the original ones that came with the toilets i bought. February 23, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Update To A Flawed Initial Button Design The original button on our older Glacier Bay dual flush toilet had a blue and silver design with no icons to indicate high or low flush modes. This button updates that flaw with easy to understand icons. Had to cut the length of the push rods because this was going into an older model dual flush toilet but it was easy to do, anyone can do it to upgrade an old blue button. No problems. April 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works fine; doesn't look like the picture This works just fine and isn't expensive at all. However, the part looks nothing like the picture. The one I got has one large silver button with a smaller blue button inside it. No big deal, but some people might like to know. April 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Only option for replacement - order on-line I used a cheap brand of chlorine tablet in the 2 Glacier Bay toilets we have which we installed last year. Both the existing buttons completely degraded because of it - the chrome finish was eaten off. I usually use Clorox brand which releases chlorine slowly into the tank - the cheapies were like dumping in a bottle of chlorine and letting it sit. SO - we needed the replacements. I couldn't tell from the picture or description on line if this was button only (top) or whole flushing mechanism with push rods. It is the whole thing. Even though HD sells the toilets in the store, they do not have the replacement parts in the store - thankfully I could get on-line. The plastic push rods were longer than existing, but they snap easily with pliers to right size. The replacement button is not at pictured with the blue side. It's all chrome, one button has one drop on it, the other has 2 drops on it. Easier to understand the new one at to which side uses more water. January 13, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dual Flush Chrome Push Button The push Button Chrome Dual Flush for the toilet I bought was an exact fit and had no problems at all with installment.Overall very pleased with the product and the quick shipment from Home Depot. Thanks September 2, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Installed for 3 months and no problems so far. Very inexpensive toilet, looks and feels much higher quality than anything else in this price range. Unfortunately the button is not available in brushed nickel finish. The Kohler brushed-nickel button does not fit the tank lid. September 16, 2012
