I need the specifications for the glacier bay 924045 sink for my fabricator. Not the dimension specs, but the actual specs for cutting to fit my top.

Asked by: Roxy
Two ways to go here... 1. The Actual item you need is a DXF file. This is a CAD drawing file which should be provided by the sink Manufacturer / seller. Unfortunately Home Depot provides very few DXF files for the in-house sinks they sell especially in the Glacier Bay line. I have requested them several times, with no luck. Your fabricator should be able to draw one if they have the cad ability and then produce a hard copy template and a DXF file. 2. They also can use the paper template usually provided with the sink, this however becomes a hand fabrication process and is very time and labor intensive and can cost more. The actual measurements for the under mount sink which would give you no revel are 20 X 14 and corner radius(s) would need to be added as well, as seen in the provided hard copy drawings. I would however check them and double check them to make sure that is how you want the final product to appear.

What is the cut out dimesnsion

They are listing the overall size of the sink with the flange and the cut out dimension as the same, I know this is incorrect. Does anyone have the rough cut out dimension?
Asked by: Dom
Hello, and thank you for your interest in our Rectangle Under-mounted Sink. Based on the Cut-out template, the dimensions are actually 18 2/3" (475mm) left to right, and 12 2/3" (325mm) front to back. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we will have it fixed on the site asap. Have a wonderful day, Foremost Groups Customer Service

I remodeled my basement and I expected that this sink would hold up based on Home Depot's reputation. It's installed in a barely used basement washroom. A year and 1/2 later, it has grown cracks in the ceramic. We hardly use this sink but everytime I look at it, it angers me. To replace it, I would have to remove the marble counter without damaging the vanity. It's not the cost of this item, it's the labor to replace it. It's garbage and as the others have warned you . . . . STAY AWAY FROM IT!

However, a very fine crack (almost invisible) at the outer bottom was found after the installation. This causes slow leakage. We are still debating if we should replace the whole sink or patch it. We are very disappointed at the quality of this product.

I have two of these and please listen to my advise, measure the sink! Measure before you cut you counters!!!! The dimensions on the box are different from the dimensions on included template which are different from the dimensions in the installation instructions which are different from the dimensions on the PDF on this web site which are different from the measurement of the sink itself!!! That should be enough to give you pause. The price is good, the quality is suspect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good, large rectangular sink I just had to write this review to clear up some issues with other reviews. A. pay attention to dimensions. Undermount sinks can be confusing because there is a flange dimension and the interior dimension of the sink cutout. B. Titanium does NOT scratch the porcelain sinks. Your titanium is actually rubbing off and sticking to the surface. When you "remove the scratch" you are just getting rid of the titanium residue. C. Not sure how a Decolav logo is on the Glacier Bay sink. I agree that Decolav often has crooked logos but they are on Decolav sinks. Speaking of Decolav, they have very thick flanges but this Glacier Bay is more normal and a bit easier to mount under granite with a plywood subtop.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really Nice! This sink is really nice when installed. Only issue we had was that it is a BIG sink. It took up most of my vanity top in my guest bathroom, which is small to begin with anyway. However it turned out beautiful and my installer cut the granite two inches longer for added counter space (I don't know if this is recommended). My master bathroom look stunning! I love the big sinks!! If you have the space I would definitely recommend this sink!
