No pressure, plenty of pressure if I remove the head of the faucet

Hi, I bought this faucet about 3 or 4 months ago at home depot. Well I finally got around to installing it last night, as I have been remodeling my whole house on my own.
My question is where is the water pressure??? The water just trickled out of the faucet.
I removed the faucet head with the switch on it and there is plenty of pressure from the pipes through the hose, when I screwed the head back on the water just trickled out again. The black rubber switch on the side really does not move or click well neither as I would assume there would be a noticable difference when switching, I did not get both functions, sprayer and/or regular aerated water flow initially neither, the water just trickled.
I removed the head again, and tapped it on the counter and it worked a bit at least when I reinstalled it, but still very, very low on pressure. My thought is that there is something wrong with the head itself, maybe the switch on the side of it?? At my wits end....
I do not want to have to take the whole faucet off, because installing it alone was a bear to say the least, and it is finally sturdy.
How would I get a new replacement head without removing the whole faucet? I will be calling my local Home Depot today as well, but my guess is they are going to want me to remove the whole faucet...... UGH!!
Thank you for your help.
Joe

We had same problem. Glacier Bay Parts can be reached at 18006540688. I talked to Brandon at extension 77564 and got a replacement faucet head mailed to us. He looked it up by model # as the internet number and SKU were not helpful. Hope that helps anyone else having this problem =)

I am dealing with the same issue, something in the head is restricting it. I took the head off and turned on the water... water EVERYWHERE, definitely not sediment in the lines, possibly the head but not the lines. I will check back for your solution or with mine...

Answer:
Yes, this sink (and any other sink with a 1/2" spray attachment) will work with a portable dishwasher. You will need to make your own adapter. I will provide the images of the parts, all of which I've purchased from Home Depot. Please follow the images for instructions on how to install the parts.

yes, in fact the deck plate has a tendency to bend under the weight of the faucet when tightened down enough to hold the faucet upright

What is the difference between the dual sprays? I am not looking for an optional "gentle" spray for vegetables.

Answer:
There are two spray functions on this faucet. The default is the main faucet setting that has strong pressure and functions like your normal faucet has. The other setting is the spray head that gives a stronger spray like a small shower head with high pressure that is good for cleaning dishes and other things you would want a spray head to do.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by So far, so good Easy to install, works good for what I need, and looks nice. Doesn't have a much reach as I would like but compared to similar style faucets, it is good value for the money. August 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by faucet we bought this faucet because friends of ours have one and they love it! i waited until it went on sale and then bought it online. it was delivered less than a week later. i love home depot! every time i shop there, the employees are so helpful and there are so many of them wearing the orange aprons...you don't have to look far if you need help. all of them have the aisles and merchandise memorized...it makes it so easy to shop! i am waiting for 2 more items to go on sale and then i will buy those too online! thx marylou August 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very simple installation. This was an excellent upgrade to our kitchen remodel. We used the single hole mount through 3cm granite. The underside mounting "ring" was very secure, and the supply ends were ready to accept Home Depot's Model # 7223-12-12-2 12" supply lines for a perfect and professional installation. I am very pleased with this great functioning, very good looking faucet. August 24, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not sturdy The base of the faucet isn't sturdy. Faucets will tend to have a thicker base than the rest of the faucet but this one is a straight pipe which makes for a flimsy foundation. I did not use the base plate that came with it but I don't know how much better it would be. The be coiled screw thing that does into the countertop is thin unlike some other faucets so it also contributes to the flimsy foundation. It comes with a big plastic screw add on to help keep it sturdy but it didn't do anything. You have to give it a slight pull to remove the faucet head and every time you do that the faucets moves. It's just not a well designed product. February 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quality product just.. I like everything about this product except one thing. The bar/ rod that holds the sprayer in place seems to not go out as far as i would like over the sink, but that is me being really picky. August 23, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by adequate The faucet is adequate. The real determination will be if it lasts more than 6 months. However, the weight and quality were comparable to the $300+ faucets. Which doesn't mean this faucet is a better bargain; it means all faucets are made cheaply. September 6, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Faucet Great faucet as replacement for 3 year old HD (Standard American) faucet. This one has less mobility than former one but it looks nicer and the sprayer isn't the harsh, water everywhere that the last one had. One thing to consider that I did not realize, keep in mind the thickness of your sink!! My stainless steel sink is too thin to hold the faucet so that it doesn't wiggle in the sink. It is secured correctly, it is so big that it can be tipped from front to back in the sink. I'm going to love this faucet!! August 16, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Decent buy Nice for the price , easy to Install, has been working well for a week or so. August 21, 2016
