No pressure, plenty of pressure if I remove the head of the faucet

Hi, I bought this faucet about 3 or 4 months ago at home depot. Well I finally got around to installing it last night, as I have been remodeling my whole house on my own. My question is where is the water pressure??? The water just trickled out of the faucet. I removed the faucet head with the switch on it and there is plenty of pressure from the pipes through the hose, when I screwed the head back on the water just trickled out again. The black rubber switch on the side really does not move or click well neither as I would assume there would be a noticable difference when switching, I did not get both functions, sprayer and/or regular aerated water flow initially neither, the water just trickled. I removed the head again, and tapped it on the counter and it worked a bit at least when I reinstalled it, but still very, very low on pressure. My thought is that there is something wrong with the head itself, maybe the switch on the side of it?? At my wits end.... I do not want to have to take the whole faucet off, because installing it alone was a bear to say the least, and it is finally sturdy. How would I get a new replacement head without removing the whole faucet? I will be calling my local Home Depot today as well, but my guess is they are going to want me to remove the whole faucet...... UGH!! Thank you for your help. Joe

Same issue about lack of water pressure after a couple years of use. Restrictior removed and way more pressure than I need now.

will this faucet connect to a male aerator for a portable dishwasher?

Asked by: Lauren
Yes, this sink (and any other sink with a 1/2" spray attachment) will work with a portable dishwasher. You will need to make your own adapter. I will provide the images of the parts, all of which I've purchased from Home Depot. Please follow the images for instructions on how to install the parts.

Series 400 Single-Handle Pull-Down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet in Chrome is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 144.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheaply made, invest in a higher quality brand We could not get the facuet tight enough and slowly kept loosening until one day the threaded stem that tightens it broke on it. Then costumer service was not helpful, asked if we couldn't just fix it ourselves and when we stated if we had to go through that trouble we would just get a new one, when they finally agreed to send a "new body" which we figured was the entire faucet but ended up just being the bottom half, after we threw the entire facuet away!! They sent a bunch of parts just thrown in a box. We ended up buying a different brand facuet and could tell right away the better quailty and how much easier it was to install!!!

I bought mine 3.5 years ago and had the plumber install it with my Kohler top-mount farmhouse sink. It is extremely stout and easy to clean. The only issue I have is that the spray head button sticks on "spray" and must be tapped while holding non-spray button in order to release. So I called Glacier Bay (on a Saturday morning!) and they are sending me a replacement head. The newer spray head appears to have rubber covered buttons, whereas my unit's buttons are out in the open and probably got crud in them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good faucet, can be fixed Like many other of the reviewers here, the handle on my faucet started falling off within a few months. After doing a lot of research on the faucet (apparently made only for HomeDepot), I decided my best option was to go to HomeDepot and see if they could find a solution and help me get it fixed. Thankfully, I talked to a very knowledgeable associate who identified the solution immediately - through the hole in the bottom is an Allen screw, so all you need is an Allen wrench to tighten the screw back onto the faucet! I wish I could have found this solution online, but hopefully it will help you.

I bought this exact faucet and after 3 years of normal use, the entire faucet above the water shut on/off handle shot off from the water pressure leaving a high pressure fountain of water hitting my ceiling, cabinets, and counter. Home Depot does not have replacement parts and the plumbing supply company said Glacier Bay faucets like these are not repairable. Now I have to buy a new one. Just do your homework first!! I just looks good, and I loved it!!

I bought this faucet a month ago and it is already leaking whenever I try to use the aerated spray. The normal solid stream works fine, but push the button to use the aerated spray and water shoots out from the button. This was my second Glacier Bay faucet. The first one lasted 4 years, and then the stem holding the spray head simply broke. Time to move on to a more reliable brand!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Previous Review Apology I previously gave this faucet a bad review after 3 years of great service until it erupted and shot water to the ceiling. I took it back to HD but it couldn't be repaired so i replaced it. After the plumber installed the new one he found there was a tiny screw in the back area that blew off and it just had to be tightened again! Sooooooo, if you like it, buy it and enjoy it!!

Could not find in stores anymore, to buy for my mother. Found them online. Great faucet. Excellent product. Because we love it, we want my mother, who is 88 years old, to have them in her two sinks. Thank you Home Depot!

My wife loves it. It is unusual in that the hot and cold is reversed from the standard but you could just reverse the supply lines. We have one in each of our homes so we like the faucet.
