Are there drainage holes on the bottoms of the feet?

My question was not answered properly by the manufacturer who said "This product was designed to withstand any water collecting on top or on the support legs."

"On Top" or "On" the support legs does not tell me whether water will collect INSIDE what appears to be rubber feet, or it they have an opening. Anybody else out there care to take a stab at an answer? Thanks

However, I can't understand why any company would make such an oddly-shaped seat, instead of a right angle-- this takes up so much space and doesn't fit well within ANY corner. I suppose if someone needed to be seated all the time for showering, this style might work well. But for the person who just wants a place to put a leg up (as for shaving or washing), it is like having another person in the stall with you. I have attached photos showing its placement in relation to our 38" x 52" shower stall. I sure wish the site had offered additional photos initially to show exactly how the seat would fit--I might have saved some time and gas! Read Less

Do the legs on this seat collect with water that enters into the height adjustment holes, or is there a drainage hole on the foot?

I am concerned that the adjustment holes will allow water to enter into each of the legs and then sit in the "foot" until the legs rust out. If there is a drain hole, then there should be no problem. Thanks.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.6 out of 5 by 9 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Too Big Would be nice if the seat was smaller. Took up too much in the shower. Hard for my ailing mother-in-law to get past it to take a shower. February 10, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not as nice as I would have liked I was looking for an inexpensive shower seat and this was the least expensive I could find. (authentic teak is evidently very expensive) This seat is bulky and took up too much room in the shower stall and the faux teak is not attractive - looks cheap. After struggling with it, I replaced it with a Lucite spa seat from Bed Bath & Beyond that met our needs much better for the amount of space it occupies, for the way it looks and it was less expensive. We are huge fans of Home Depot, this is just one purchase that did not work out for us. August 25, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by too snug for a standard size tub This product is too large for the standard size tub. October 24, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Takes up a lot of room. I had hoped this would fit neatly in the corner, but it is an elongated triangle so it sticks out into the shower stall quite a bit. It is tippy if you don't sit on it the right way, so be carefull. August 27, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tub and Shower Corner Seat in Faux Teak TUB AND SHOWER CORNER SEAT IN FAUX TEAK The corner shower seat was easy to assemble! It works perfectly with my shower color palette. The seat is easy to clean too. July 14, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Shower seat Bought this for the Mother in law so she can take a shower works great for her. December 18, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Finally, our problem solved! We have a 32" square shower and a 6' tall man who is unable to stand long enough to complete a shower. We've tried a rectangular bench which didn't allow enough knee room. We tried a commode (without the bucket) and there was even less room for him. FINALLY, our problem is solved with this seat. We placed the shorter side against the wall opposite the shower controls. There was enough room for him to get one leg around the front of it in order to straddle it. The seat comes out far enough between his legs that he was able to push on it in order to stand. It's the first time he's been able to shower independently for over a year. Even though it says it's a corner seat, there isn't a 90-degree angle...obviously, that isn't a problem for us. Thank you for an excellent product. December 15, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Price and large Recent purchase. Have a large walkin shower that previously had a teak shower stool. The teak slats broke. Purchased this one mainly because of price and hopeful that it will last longer. Because of its shape I was disappointed that it does not snug up to a corner so it protrudes more.
