This is sink is beautiful and it looked great when installed. But like other reviewers on here, showed signs of spotting from either water or ketchup or whatever else I'm not sure. It looks terrible!! I tried to polish it out with Brasso (that's what Google said to do) but after 10 minutes of polishing it looks like I would have to polish the whole sink for hours one end to have it all match one color and not look stained. Too high maintenance for me so I gave up.
I'm going to Home Depot tomorrow to see what I could do about returning it.

I am very pleased with this sink. I like the color and texture. So far, it is easy to maintain - just rinse out or wash with soap and water. I do wipe it dry at the end of the day and I don't leave the soapy dish wand in it. I think it was worth the money.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Kaco26 Beautiful, but more rustic than expected
I LOVE this sink. Very unique and much less expensive than some other solid copper sinks. Also not nearly as much echo or 'tin' sounding as it was before mounting, so a higher gauge is not necessary. Huge relief! I call it jewelry for my kitchen. Water spots very easily which is why I call it rustic looking, but cleans with metal polish back to shiny copper if that's what you like.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by VickyN Beautiful sink, but beware that the finish comes off when ketchup is put on it.
I love the look of this sink, but ketchup and similar products take the dark finish off and leave bright shiny copper spots that will turn green. These are NOT WATER SPOTS. We tested it with a little spot of ketchup. I read all the glowing reviews, so purchased. Wish now that I had not. It looks great with my countertop, but very unhappy with it.... We have not finished our kitchen in the photos.

Beautiful sink with great hammered surface. The distressed finish makes water marks disappear. It is easy to clean with soap and water and looks great with my dark granite countertops. It is a great value. I looked in stores and on the Internet for a copper sink. This was the best price for a great product.

This is not only the most inexpensive copper sink on the market, but a phenominal value at that!
I was apprehensive about it because it was over $100 less than the next model, but boy am I glad I did. It has an amazing finish and compliments our new granite.

I purchased this sink because I wanted a rustic look in my kitchen re-do, to go with a new granite top. I like cabin / cottage style furnishings. All in all I'm very happy with this purchase. It is hand pounded which should be taken to mean, not exactly precise in it's measurements. It was discovered upon cutting the granite that the bowl on one side of the sink was shifted about 1/4 off of the other side. The granite top people were able to work around this with some creative thinking and my laid back ways. Though the install isn't as perfect or exact as the counter top people would have liked, I'm ok with it. After all, it's rustic! I figure it's what you get when not going with a $1000 copper sink in favor of an economical one. It looks wonderful. I'm HAPPY!!
Going back and looking at some of the other comments people made... I ordered the extra basket because I don't have a garbage disposal. Both baskets were exactly the same and both fit just fine. So no worries there. I haven't noticed any staining, rings or other things that one previous person was upset about. (I don't think they understood what copper sinks were all about. ) I have left plates in it and don't bother drying the sink out with a towel. I was expecting to notice discoloration, but haven't seen any as of yet. It wouldn't worry my if I did. It's why I bought the copper in the first place. It's low maintenance. It's suppose to develop an patina over time. I do watch that I don't dump acid things in it to let sit, but if it happens, it will correct itself over time.
I've ordered the Fasade Backsplash in Moonstone Copper to go along with the sink and the rest of the kitchen look I'm going for. That should arrive shortly. YEAH! My tap is the Delta Leland Venetian Bronze. It all goes well together. Copper would have been nice for the tap too but those are harder to come by and expensive. Like I said... at the price, I'm overjoyed with the sink. I would highly recommend it to anyone who doesn't expect total perfection from a rustic hand made, economically priced, copper sink. I would give it a full five stars except the slightly miss alined bowels did make for some creative fudging. So to be fair...4 and a half. I didn't expect perfection.
