so you use the screws from the toiletseat you removed? what about the 2 screws included with the raised toiletseat?

The kit came with everything I needed. Try not using old screws and bolts. You are changing an old toilet which means old bolts and screws.

this toilet seat is not stable, if there is someway to put something but small screws that would not fall out and make it stable it would be great.

Universal Elevated Toilet Seat in White is rated 3.1 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Be ready for LEAKS! Liked that this offered versatility for round & elogongated toilets... and that it was available to buy immediately at my local store.- unfortunately, once installed, it LEAKS at the front when my husband uses it. We have an elongated toilet & if you do too, you may want to consider a riser made especially for that shape. - (We are using packing tape to seal the gap & reduce leaks)

It has built in hand grabbers that are built right into the seat; instead of those awful things that look like handle bars. Just grab the hand grabbers & it takes the weight off my hips & knees. It's just the right size for me, and it was easy to install. It's easy to remove to clean. Has a little lever in the back that you can easily switch back & forth to remove the seat. Clean it & put it back on. I really like it.

I have used the product for a month after having knee surgery; it is just the right height for an extra boost to help in standing. The shape of it, with "handles" on the side, makes it unnecessary to have a grab bar by the toilet. Unfortunately, no elevated toilet seats have lids on them but that would be a wonderful addition. I would definitely recommend this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Working well for us This toilet seat is easy to install for a somewhat stressed caregiver. It is working well. My husband really appreciates the ease it gives him. For a low cost solution, it is VERY effective.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Brackets don't fit The piece which looks like it would fit with no assembly required does need assembly but the bracket for this $50.00 chunk of plastic doesn't come anywhere near fitting the screw holes in my toilet, so now I have to drive the 12 miles back today and get a refund. The seat itself is three inches high not counting the side 'rails' which would have been okay, but it was not going to fit in any way shape or form. If the bracket was longer with more optional holes then it would probably be okay. Before you buy a raised toilet seat make sure to measure between the holes where the lid is to make sure, that if the raised seat has holes, they will match up.
