what type of adhesive is used to attach to cement walls?

Your call ... Can use Loctite Power Grab Ultimate. Whatever you choose, pick something that sets up quick so you don't have to hold it in place very long.

Customer Reviews

96 in. W GearTrack and GearWall Garage Wall Storage Base Board (4-Pack) is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from 96 IN GEARTRACK AND GEARWALL GARAGE WALL STORAGE BASE BOARD (4-PACK) I ordered this because it was on sale and saved painting of wood trim. Overall, it looks good and was fairly easy to work with. Cuts easily and cleanly with a miter saw. I installed with Grey, Torx deck screws which worked very well and don't show too much. (see pics). Recommend a little jig to make sure your screws are always the same distance from the top/bottom edge. Con: Product is grooved on backside. Saves weight but makes it more of a challenge when the end of the board is exposed. I cut 45 deg miters and had a short return back to the wall. (see pics) Otherwise you will see the grooved back of the board on exposed ends. If you do this ... be skilled with miter saw and watch your fingers as the return piece is small. Cut the 45 on a longer piece of material first then make the straight cut. Hopefully that makes sense. Some of the product was damaged on the ends as the boxes are not substantial. Fortunately I had enough product that I could cut a little bit off the ends of the damaged pieces. This is a fail from Gladiator / Whirlpool more so than Home Depot.
