I see Gladiator has reduced the price on the hardwood top but not the maple. Has anything in the design changed or is this just a price drop?

Asked by: Chris
I was told that the hardwood top is made in china and the maple top is made in the U.S.A.

How do you raise or lower the top? What are the steps?

How do you adjust the height? Can I adjust the height while a project is resting on the bench top? How much weight must the user be able to lift in order to adjust the table height?
Asked by: Marty
Two Bolts per leg then Slide leg in or out

Can the top be attached off-center so the overhang is longer on one side?

Or are there already pre-drilled holes on the underside. Can this be modified?
Asked by: mhmyers
No, The holes are pre dilled on the bottom of maple top to where the frame is going to be attached. The back piece is attached with the top and frame no modifications.

If I received a perfect table on time it would be a 5 star review. However when the table arrived damaged and I attempt to reach out to home depot for a remedy, they do not respond to your emails. My new table arrive with dings, scrapes and damaged corners. The box they ship this table in is insufficient and you may get a damaged table. It's probably best to purchase this in-store and not from home depot who doesn't seem to care about customer service. Also the table was ordered june 28th, originally marked to arrive by July 7 and showed up july 16 with update / warning. I did not have to sign for the package delivery like normal freight deliveries.

Needed a new desk for my PC that would hold both the computer and my quad monitor setup. Didn't like the look of any of the cheap particle board looking desks to drill a hole in for my monitor mount so I decided to go with a more solid option. I have the 8 foot table in my garage as my workbench so I knew this would work fine. Set legs to 2nd lowest level and added a chair and voila, I have my new computer desk that isn't going anywhere.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Investment Bought online and had delivered via gate lift truck. Packing was a little beat up around the corners but due to careful thought in the designing of packaging only minor cosmetic dents x2 were noted on edge of table board. Steel craftsmanship with texturing of metal was a pleasant aesthetic touch that I had not anticipated. Assembly was straightforward with directions that were written well and included diagrams that made identifying pieces and their order of assembly intuitive. Solid construction. Solid investment for years of enjoyment.

It was fairly simple to assemble, but during the process you FEEL how well this workbench is put together. The adjustable height is just what the doctor ordered for now and whenever I make changes in the garage. My wife is a garage dweller, but she LOVES the look and feel of this classy workbench. The beautiful maple top even blows me away!

They were easy to put together, and they are solidly built; overall, great quality. I am using them as counter height desks in my "man cave" office. I purchased a third one, which works as counter space over the top of my washer and dryer in the laundry room. I highly recommend them for any use.

Everything was great with the table, easy to assemble and I really love using it as a standing desk. The only bum deal was that it came a dent in the top about 1/8 of an inch deep that I didn't notice until I assembled it and stood it up.

The adjustable height was a big selling feature for me, as I use it for various tasks. It easily holds equipment for some of my heavier work stations projects (several hundred pounds). It is rated at 3000lbs and I can believe it. Assembly was pretty straight forward, for those not mechanically inclined, do not fear, there are some assembly videos on "You Tube" for this series of tables. Just search for "Gladiator table assembly" and pick the model closest to the one you have. All the part needed for assembly were present and properly labeled. I have had it for about a couple months now and have used it almost every day. I am very happy with it, it is a professional grade work bench.
