Purchased 2 of the 36 inch tall cabinets for garage looking to upgrade from lower grade choices available. They were actually not bad quality and fairly easy to assemble. One important note was the condition of many of the parts. There were a number of pieces that were bent on corners or didn’t line up perfect and took some additional effort to assemble Not sure if it’s a packaging or quality control issue but it really takes away from the cabinets unless your able to manually bend panels and such back. a few dents in the center of side panels on one couldn’t be corrected but it was against a wall for me so I just rolled with it. Also, pictures indicate a diamond cut look for panels and although they are ok for normal garage applications it would be far from heavy duty use. Gauge of metal was not super thick.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Caryn Easy to Assemble and Does the Job
It took just over 2 hours to assemble because this woman decided to do it all by herself.
The instructions were easy to follow and all of the components clearly marked. The only tricky part was installing the shelves. It's tricky to hold them in place while placing the screws from the exterior. Luckily I had long nails handy and used 4 of them to hold the shelf in place. I then removed the nails one-by-one as I placed the screw in the vacant hole. It looks great in my art studio

When I ordered this particular model online they did not give me an option to pick it at store, which could save me 50 bucks for delivery. The cabinet was well packed but the delivery did damage P1 part (please look at these picture I loaded). Overall the product was on sale but I could not save as much as money that I was expected. I will think twice before place a order in the future.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by RegularJoe Would have been ok, but...
Not a bad cabinet or price. No difficulty in assembly. However, like many earlier posts; this cabinet simply cannot be shipped without damaging one or more of the metal panels. I chose to try and straighten the panel myself. (It's still bent). I would have returned the item for an exchange but determined that I'd likely just get another one that was damaged -- and probably damaged in a more conspicuous location.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Dave Looks Great... But.
the unit looks great and were a good price. These two units replaced unsightly shelving in the garage. The problems started with the screws on the back panels were not able to be placed due to the holes were not tapped for the screws provided. The screws for the shelves could be longer to make the installation easier. When I got to the doors, I found the corners damaged in the original packaging in tact. At this point I did not want to disassemble the entire unit to take back to Home Depot, My time is worth more than this.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by IvyR Great Cabinet at Reasonable Price
Cabinet was delivered within 4 days of placing the order. The shipping box was a bit abused but inside the parts were in good condition. It took about 2 hours to assemble the cabinet as I had never put one together before. One tip that I can pass along is to square up the side and top & bottom panels (while cabinet is laying on the floor) first and install/tighten the corner screws. Then the back panels and doors fit and install perfectly...rather than leaving all the screws loose until the back panels are installed per directions. Two of the rear panel center screws were hard to thread...either the panels were not threaded or holes were paint clogged..but I finally got them in. Door installation is best done with a small, about 1/8", shim between the door panel's lower edge at the hinge and lower base and then tightening the door hinge screws..This seemed to nicely center the doors in the opening and did not require a 3rd hand to hold the door up while fastening the hinge screws. Be sure to level the cabinets in their final location. I built two of these, one 36" and one 48". They replaced two open shelf units in my garage and look really great. Also, I taped the slots in the back and unused holes with black electrical tape to discourage spiders and bugs from crawling in. I will be buying more of these cabinets later (and when on sale) as I convert from open shelving to cabinets.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JCP1 Gladiator garage storage units are fantastic!
If a 65 year old female can pick these gladiator units up at the store in her small SUV and unload them and put them together all by herself, anybody can do this. The directions were easy to follow and I was able to mount them on the wall. The storage capacity of the individual pieces is so versatile and my garage looks great. I have gone back to Home Depot to buy several more gladiator products for my garage.

Several years ago we purchased one of these cabinets and were so pleased with the durability that we ordered two more. They were ordered on line, delivered to our door, and easily assembled. When a couple who have been married for 55 years are able to assemble them, that's easy.
